My wife and I had the best dinner at the Coal Pot. Service was great, staff are warm and welcoming. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. Try the Lamb rack... It was just awesome. Will definately be back soon!

There are a lot of great restaurants in St Lucia that we love, but Coal Pot is consistently our "go to" favourite. We have been probably ten times over the past three years and always been pleased with the experience. Though we have been with kids, the Coal Pot is probably best for couples or adults. The waterside atmosphere is... More

I visited The Coal Pot in December 2016 with my family. We read all of the amazing reviews on trip advice and visited the restaurant on the first night of vacation. We arrived at the door and 2 workers were busy hanging up a plastic Christmas decoration on the door. One looked at us and continuing doing whatever she was... More

I try and make it to the Coal Pot every time I am in Saint Lucia, and it has never disappointed me or anyone I traveled with. The menu is heavily seafood oriented and dishes are served with local sides and salad. I highly recommend you try the Mahi Mahi, Snapper or Tuna. The fish is cooked perfectly. The restaurant... It was so good, we left our all-inclusive resort and went back again 2 days later. If you are anywhere near Castries, you MUST eat here. You will never feel more like a local. Food is unbelievable and the setting is awesome. Don't leave St Lucia without hitting the Coal Pot!!!!

What a fabulous hidden away spot! The food was awesome and the setting is right on the waterfront. The road getting in is a bit bumpy but well worth the effort. I was taken there by my friends who are locals and it was as good as described. I had the Dorado in a creole sauce and they had a... More

What a lovely experience and truly exceptional service from my homeland: first visit for the year. The St Lucian crab back is now the best crab I've ever had. My fiancé strongly agreed. The Couquille St Jacques was pretty good too. The mains of the tuna in ginger sauce and the dorado in garlic sauce were well prepared and we... More

Slightly off the beaten track but oozing character is this waterside eaterie which proffers tasty food and attentive service. The seafood is all delicious and Creole or Carribean inspired. The steak was excellent and overall the meal has been the best we have had to date. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and look forward to hearing at its sister restaurant.
