We have been visiting different restaurants in Gros Islet and we were not disappointed when we went to Buzz! From the moment we walked in and were seated promptly, and throughout the evening, the service and food was great! My husband had the lamb shanks and was pleased with the right amount of heat. I had the baby back ribs... More

Very attractive restaurant, prettily lit gardens with tables dotted around as well as tables inside. Great service, very friendly, excellent menu, we went twice we liked it so much!

This was our last night and thought that Buzz would be a good restaurant to go to as it was near the hotel and looked good when we walked past it a few nights before. The ambiance was fantastic unfortunately it went down hill from there. While the meal was really good , the only criticism of the food was... More

We stayed in one the resort hotels up the street, so this restaurant was one of the various obvious local ones to try. There was a large coctail bar where we could order a drink and wait a short while for a suitable table in the garden being prepared for us. The gardens tables were placed very wide apart from... Went on a Wednesday evening when there is a live singer. He helped create a great ambience. Food and service were excellent. A great place for a romantic meal.

Perfect for eating fish in a charming garden. Avocado and lobster as a starter , well spiced nice presentation and then a dorado (mahi mahi ) in a delicate sauce with shrimps. All of it pleasant to the eyes and to the palate. The dish was served hot. A plus.

I enjoyed our meal here but for the price you expect more. The owner was very unfriendly and leaved the impression that she neither wants or requires your patronage. The food was excellent which you would expect for the price and the other members of staff were very friendly. There was also no time to enjoy your meal. Maybe this... More

A beautiful garden restaurant serving very expensive, but good food spoiled by chaotic service and no acknowledgement of our dissatisfaction by the staff. On arrival we were shown to the bar whilst our table was made ready. Here we had to suffer, who we think was the owner 'holding court' and screaming at a child who had dared to come... More

Whatever you do, don’t leave Buzz till your last night. Besides their à la carte menu they have nightly specials. Buzz has been operating for 12 years and Pat Bowden and Chef Marie who have worked together for 37 years have been successful in all their restaurants. Pat has created a restaurant and bar with a warm ambience, friendly atmosphere and lots of charm. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and as the name implies, is abuzz with activity. Food is presented on dishes in varying shapes, sizes and colours. Buzz is known for Seafood; Fresh Tuna, Potato Crusted Snapper, Baked Mahi Mahi filled with Avocado and Shrimp, Swordfish and a variety of Shrimp, Scallop & Lobster dishes (in season). House specialities include Homemade Raviolis, Lamb Shanks, West Indian Pepperpot, Rack of Lamb & Black Angus Beef hand trimmed and served with a variety of sauces. Homemade Desserts include a Trio of Crème Brûlée, Warm Apple Crêpes, Chocolate Mousse and Banana Pecan Bread Pudding. Mervin the Bartender will whip up fun cocktails like our “famous” Mango Dacquiri, Buzzing Bee Stinger and Buzz Cooler. Not only does Mervin keep the guests amused with his “chat”, he also keeps the children amused with his “card tricks.”
