We stopped by here for a late lunch. Wish we went earlier as we were still full at dinner time. Our hosts, JeanBaptiste and Paula, are very friendly and accommodating. JeanBaptiste took the time to explain each dish in detail and even brought a pot...More
Great little hole in the wall on an ally way. Food is great, staff / owner wonderful. Eaten here a few times on this trip.
Altough Le Sous Marin did get hit by Hurricane Irma, Jean-Baptiste and his wife Paula were able to re-open and nothing has changed...which is good. The prices are still more than reasonable and the quality is still homemade. I had to order the lasagna to...More

Jean-Baptiste and his wife Paula provided an unparalleled customer experience. Everything on the menu is 100% homemade and delivered with great care. I definitely recommend trying Le Sous Marin for lunch or dinner.
The owner is a good man, I was passing by almost everyday and he and her wife were working hard. Sandwich with fresh french baguette and 2$ beers, that's the life!
Lasagna was great as was the cod and potato bake. The chocolate mousse was beyond good at $3. The best part was the owner and host, John Baptise. Colorful, charming and sincerely cared about you and your food.
