We were just walking and had to choose between 3-4 local restaurants, we were looking for something typical to taste the local food. We were not disappointed. Plates are full and huge, had the most insane ribs ever and a "ragoût" with seafood and rice, all fresh and clean with local beer. Great souvenir from the island.
A very busy spot. This seems to be the most popular place in town and the lunch crowd jostling for a table is only part of the story as they also seem to be offering a brisk take out business at the same time. The service and wait can be off-putting but once you get your food you will find... More
It's a lunch place not dinner. Trust me, we walked from where we were staying for dinner one night and it was closed. Next day, the garlic shrimp didn't dissapoint. Lot's of locals on the day we went in and no tourists-good sign.
The title says it all! From his breakfast to lunch specials, Enoch is the best local food spot in Marigot! And if you don't get to check out his daily location, he also has the Bridge restaurant in Sandy Ground!
Enoch's is popular with the locals which says it all. The food was good and very reasonably priced. I had garlic prawns and chips for euro 13. Local beer euro 2.
I had the chicken with tarragon sauce, and it was excellent. My boyfriend ordered the mahi mahi, and he thought it was poorly seasoned (he's a snob, so really it was just somewhat bland) and not a particularly good cut of fish. We both enjoyed the steam veggies and plantains. The prices are reasonable for the island, and the staff... More
The best fish you can get on St. Maarten -- on either the French or Dutch side -- is from Enoch's. The red snapper is so delicious and delectable until you just want to order another portion. The Caribbean rice, the salad and the plantain make for a well balanced delicious meal. Every time I'm in St. Maarten, I make... More
A wonderful place to eat the best snapper on the Island. Right near the market,it fills up fast and don't be in a hurry. Every time I come to St Maartens , this place is a must on Saturday mornings.
Our guide took us to this restaurant, knowing that we would like it. She was right! Very informal place with a good vibe! Nice friendly staff. My wife ordered the Garlic shrimp and I ordered the Goat curry! The plates were very large and hot! I'm tired of lukewarm food! The plate had beans and rice- terrific, plantains- delicious, a... More
