This has really changed since last time we were there about 6 1/2 years ago. They expanded, added shops and a pool (that I'm not sure but I think you have to pay $5 to use it). We always have a great time here. Good music, great atmosphere and good food. My only issue and no fault of the restaurant... More

This place has grown and now has lots of room to watch the planes land and take off. Enjoy some of the great grub and of course the cold beer. Take you camera or phone and get some great pics of the planes and do not for get to stand behind them when they take off you may get blown... More

The couple of times we've been to this bar the staff has been less than friendly - which is really easy to see since this is known as the friendly island! It's really apparent when you don't see that. Having said that, I know they do not cater to those of us over 50. Their clientele is geared toward the... More

Very touristy bar and grill right on the water. The food is good and drink reasonable. Great views of Maho Beach to watch jets buzzing and blasting the beach goers. A good place to get out of a rain shower too.

A must when on the Dutch side to go to during 1-3pm to watch the planes make their low over Maho Beach landings. Really cool if you are into jets. Ordered a few appetizers and it was the average bar food fare.

If you are interested in the bar scene and sunsets, this is the place. It happens at sunset Beach bar. They just opened a fine dining restaurant.

Why change something that was already good. Best place to see and feel the plane come to St. Martin. It was always loads of fun but someone bought all The property and changed everything, Too many rules as to where to sit. Place is really nice looking but we always went there for grouper fingers and a beer. No more... More

We spent one afternoon at Sunset Bar-- watching the planes, eating appetizers and drinking. The friends we were with loved the plane watching. We sat in the bar. They had great drinks!!!!!! A trip is not complete without going to Sunset Bar-- which is located right at the airport

We've been here last 2010 and the place was small and cozy. Now they did a big expansion and add another restaurant that serves dinner. Sunset beach bar was always great to visit. They have the best view to watch the planes land. The food was okay. I had the sunset burger which was cold and dry. I didn't complain... More

Fasten your seatbelts for fun in the sun! Sunset Bar & Grill is St. Maarten's most popular beach bar and it's easy to see why. We are right on a beautiful white sandy beach, but also right at the end of the runway of Princess Juliana International Airport. Where else can you enjoy an ice cold beer as a huge KLM Jumbo Jet soars right over your head?
