People don't go to Tortola for the food. You will rarely find fresh food, since very little is grown / raised there and the fishing industry is virtually non-existent (surprise for an island!) Virtually everything is imported and fish/meats are frozen then thawed. Chicken is always abundant - there seem to be millions running around this beautiful, laid-back island. Here,... More

The Roti here (I had the Vegetable Roti but am certain that my experience would extend to the meat rotis as well) is now on my "Top 3 Rotis in the World". Elaine, the Roti Maven in the kitchen, prepared it to perfection and made it extra hot at my request (Carolina Reaper hot...). Add to this the great service... More

appetizers were good...shrimp cocktails and conch salad. Dinner, not so much. Garlick shrimp, aka, scampi was served with shrimp in an unpleasant sauce with minimal garlic with pasty rice. Conch stew was just OK. Nothing like a conch chowder which I was hoping for. Service was not bad albeit unremarkable. Would not go there again.

The food here is so fresh. One of the kind women that works there bakes the bread at home everyday and brings it. Stick with chicken or lobster. Jerk chicken is the best I've ever had. Fish wasn't amazing.

We stayed at Sebastian's on the Beach (hotel) and it was really nice but the restaurant was the dark cloud over this beautiful location. We were there for 8 days, 7 nights and we ate there a fair amount so it wasn't just a short-staffed night that could have contributed to the consistent 2 hour wait times for breakfast, lunch,... The food is worth the drive and the wine selection was surprising for the island. Great time playing in the ocean after dinner watching the sunset.

What a mistake going here when we could've had another great breakfast at our hotel (Sugar Mill) right down the road but were looking to try something new during our stay. The service was horrible and probably not entirely the waitresses fault because the food was very slow coming out of the kitchen, but between the wait time to just... More

My wife and I ate at Sebastian's while we were there on our stay for 3 days 2 nights May 5th and 6th, and the food was fantastic! We had a blackened grouper, conch fritters, vegetables and a jerk chicken wrap and they are all very good and reasonably priced considering you're in the British Virgin Islands. Our hat goes... We came here for dinner on a Thursday night with another couple, no reservations and no cruise ship in port. We arrived early, before the restaurant opened for dinner at 1830, so we had cocktails on the veranda. Lovely location on the beach, and a nice place to see the sunset, although certainly the best spot on the island for... More
