I had time to kill so I popped in and had a mixed berry smoothie. It wasn't expensive (by Camanian standards) and tasted great. The staff were friendly, welcoming but not over the top. I left and 3 hours later realized that I had left my small back pack over the chair where I had been sitting, OUTSIDE the premises.... More

Popped in for coffee after visiting the Farmers Market - decided to go with the French roast which did not disappoint. Service was swift and staff were attentive and friendly. The pastries looked tasty but we decided to pass. I love the feel of the place and it has a little cozy room at the back where one could have... More

We went for a small breakfast. Excellent iced mochas and a bacon and tomato type pastry as well as the cinnamon roll were very good and nice and warm.

I love this place. Great range of coffees, love the pumpkin spice latte, raspberry latte, peppermint hot choc, great banana bread, Turkey mango sandwich, not the cheapest place, but comparable to Starbucks or subway. Staff are lovely, very friendly. Free Wi-Fi. One shop in the center of George town and one out towards Camana bay (near office supplies and turn... More

My first chai latte was at Cafe Del Sol in Camana Bay, back in 2010... I was hooked and have searched the globe for one to equal the quality of Cafe Del sol... Haven't been able to find one anywhere so had to head back to the Cayman Islands and CDS to try it again.. Still as good as it... More

I stopped in for a donut and coffee and was promptly served. I read for a half hour and was not disturbed. I noticed a number of other people come in and be promptly and courteously served. A good place.

My husband and I had coffee here every morning. The dark roast was good and so was the iced coffee. Standard coffee shop with a variety of pastries. Would recommend. $2.50 US for a coffee. Staff was friendly at the one next to the Burger Shack.

Description
Café Del Sol (which is Spanish for "Coffee of the Sun") was established in July 4, 2001 as the first internet coffeehouse of its kind in the Cayman Islands. The whole idea behind the company was to provide an inviting yet relaxing "third place" for our customers (home being the first and work the second). It has truly become a place that you can "find yourself" as the company slogan suggests. Cayman's favourite Coffee Shop Café del Sol is a daily necessity for local coffee addicts, a place to meet friends or simply somewhere to get lost in your favourite book. Not only do we offer the best prepared coffee in the Cayman Islands, we also offer a delicious selection of sweet treats and savoury snacks, as well as an assortment of teas and other beverages.
