We ate at the Saltwater Grill last night, great spot for a nice dinner out! It's in a strip mall but when you enter the restaurant, all you see are really beautiful and modern surroundings. Split a huge caesar salad, had the fish & chips...(light, crispy batter) and piri piri chicken, with divine flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was yummy and the service was excellent. Very very good.More

This seafood place is it! My family of six adults ate here and every single person was shocked at the quality of the food. The atmosphere (we chose inside but there’s a beautiful outdoor space as well) was modern, clean and designed to encourage everyone...at the table to see and hear everyone else. Our waitstaff was some of the most professional, service oriented staff I’ve ever encountered. I wanted to try a bit of everything so I ordered their signature dish named after the restaurant itself. They placed an amazing collection of fresh seafood onto my table: steamed prawn, shrimp, scallops, crab legs, squid and the tastiest mahi mahi. I don’t even LIKE fish and I enjoyed every bite of this gigantic plate of food. It was all cracked open for me as well. I gave bites to everyone at my table and we all agreed that this place is one of the best any of us had ever been to. You simply must here. Pricey for sure, but every aspect of the experience was top flight. Well done Saltwater Grill!More

Excellent find for our last night dinner! Great Happy Hour choices and prices...generous portions! We all got the lobster risotto for our entree and we’re vert satisfied. Nicely decorated venue and professional, friendly waitstaff...a keeper for next year!

We stopped in for dinner on a whim after an afternoon at the beach. Feeling a little under dressed for dinner, we elected to sit in the outdoor area. Indoors was cooler and probably better suited to those looking to go a little more formal....But having said that, most places are not that formal here anyway. The setting outdoors was nice, with the roof rolled back we could enjoy the breeze. The service was great. Never had to wait or try and signal one of the staff. They were happy to help as well. Plenty of drinks and wine options. Local beers are good. The menu is predominantly seafood, however there is plenty for the non-fish folk as well. Prices were also quite reasonable with mains from about $20 and up. We did desert as well. Simple menu, but some nice choices there. Happy we stopped in!More

My wife and I ate here for the first time and we really enjoyed it. We sat outside--great service and awesome food and beer! Their 1981 Tropical IPA was the best IPA I had on the island! I had the ribeye and my wife had...the fresh fish! Both were delicious! We will definitely return the next time we are in Cayman!More

This place was a great surprise. Not sure why they dont have bigger crowds. The decor is very modern and upscale. The prices were comparable to the places we had been to but not too expensive. NY husband got the sword fish that was cooked...to perfection! He also had real prawns! I had the snapper. Pan seared and also cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed this place and recommended it to another couple that totally agreed with our review. You should try it!More

We stopped in after taking a walk, and were completely happy with our decision! We were warmly greeted by very friendly bar & wait staff. The service was excellent, as were my Mahi-mahi dinner and my wife’s lobster mac n’ cheese. They had a nice...selection of wine and beer. We would definitely recommend giving them a try!More

First off, the service was great. Our waiter was engaging, knowledgeable about the wine list and cocktail menu and very pleasant. Unfortunately, the product he was promoting was not up to par. The caesar salad was bland and lacking in flavor. The alaskan king crab...legs were leathery and tasteless. I know, shame on me for ordering an alaskan product in the middle of the Carribean, but still, I expected more from a restaurant holding itself out (and charging) as a fine dining concept. I ordered the special of the day, beef wellington. The beef (fillet) was tough and stringy, to the point that I was only able to eat about half of it. My wife ordered the lobster tails, on the strength of an earlier TA review, but these were overdone and average at best. With so many other options in the seven mile area, there's just no reason to accept substandard quality product as this. $200 CI later, we left feeling like we'd been better off dining just about anywhere else. The restaurant is part of group that runs mostly bar and grill type places, and this foray into fine dining falls flat. Look elsewhere.More
