We went to Lion's restaurant after being hot and sweaty and tired... Lion and his wife made the Beach Experience amazing... Lion and his wife welcomed us, made us feel like family They fed us with the best Barbecued Chicken ever: The Chicken was awesome for me, and my wife loved the shrimp and shellfish. The BEACH WAS INCREDIBLE....and the... More

This place is the least touristy and the most chill of the 4-5 places on Cockleshell Beach. The beer is cheaper too. My husband and I split a chicken/shrimp platter and it was delicious (but not cheap). The people were so nice and the music was awesome. Beware of the guy with the monkey. He will offer to let you... Lion has a beautiful place, Thank God. Welcoming, hospitality and good food and drink. Beautiful beach. Go when no cruise ships are in.

The best beach bar on Cockleshell beach. Lion, the owner is very friendly and makes the best rum punch (Lion's punch) that we have had anywhere in the Caribbean. Be careful, or not, as they are very strong.

doesn't get as busy as reggae beach on cruise boat day. local cold beers are $2 however the food has become overpriced in the last few years. a friendly welcome is always there. loungers are available and you don't get hassled if you want to just chill out

While the bathroom leaves much to be desired, the nice sand, reasonable beach chairs and umbrellas, and beautiful views made up for it. The workers were so welcoming and nice. The masseuse was amazing! The food was very good - we enjoy trying local foods while travelling and this was definitely local flavor!

We visited Lion Beach Bar and Grill during our visit to Cockleshell Beach. It was a 30-45 minute ride from cruise ship terminal, but well worth the trip. You can opt for taxi with a group of people and it cuts cost and the taxi will pull pick you up at end of day. The bar has a great island... More
