Delicious meal. We started with the conch chowder, which we loved. As main courses we ordered the fillet of fish and rack of lamb. Lamb was seasoned perfectly as was the fish. Steamed vegetables were carrots, okra, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Waiter was excellent and so friendly. He gave us many suggestions of what we could do during our time... More

Fresh fish and chips were delicious, and we loved the location, the service, everything. What a pleasure to eat at a good, local restaurant. The people at Wilma's could not have been nicer.

Last year we had lunch at Wilma's Diner and enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to return again this year for lunch. Wilford is a gracious host and we enjoyed chatting with him again. We each had the fish plate which consisted of the freshest tasting grouper, rice and beans, green beans, eggplant in tomato sauce and salad.... More

Wanted to try local food for lunch. Met Wilroy (Wilma was cooking) who was very nice and answered some dumb tourist type questions. Lunch included a number of local vegetables and meat - ribs and chicken. Definitely not cooked in advance or prepared offsite. If you're going plan to spend some time. Might be interesting to visit for dinner.

We were recommended Wilma's by the lady in the tourist office in Charlestown. However she did warn us that they served large portions, she wasn't wrong there. My wife had fish and I had barbecued ribs both were lovely. I'd go as far as to say that no trip to Charleston is complete unless you visit Wilma's!

The food was good but for the size on the meal it was overpriced. The service was good but the we were the only one's there. As there are a lot of other places to eat on the island that charge a more realistic price we will not go back.

The restaurant had been recommended to us as a great place for lunch after walking around the City. The chef had previously worked at Montpelier so we were sure it would be good. We were the only ones there for lunch so we were able to chat with the chef's son, Wilford. He told us of the history of the... More

Had lunch there. Lovely place. Apparently Princess Di, Harry and William ate there once. Given the age of the only person working that day I sincerely doubt he was there unless he was in a playpen. The service was actually a tad faster than anywhere else but that may have been because we were the only ones there. The food... More
