My wife and I visited Providenciales in December 2016 and while searching for a place to eat that would serve local island food, we were pleasantly surprised to walk into Mackey's Cafe (plaza behind the IGA Gourmet). We were immediately impressed with the warm welcome from Tonya who was such a pleasure to meet. One has the choice of either... More

Ordered jerk chicken but it was more like curried chicken. Son had chicken tenders that he did not like. Ratings said the food was good but we were very disappointed.

We were referred to this restaurant by hotel staff as it was close by and good place to try some local food. The service was great and very friendly but unfortunately did not get to try any local seafood as server said they didnt get a good catch and had to wait until later. I ended up with a burger... We were referred to Mackey's Cafe by a lot of the locals so we tried it out. We went around 5 pm, the sun was just going down. It's a nice size cafe with a full bar and lots of tables for seating. The food was good and it was a lot of it! If you want to be stuffed... More

I was referred by the resort to go to Macky's so we tried it. It was really good. It was lobster season so lobster was everywhere. I had the steak and lobster and it was good. It was seasoned really well. I would recommend this place to visitors. The loaded potato was good as well but the salad had too... More

This place was a diamond in the rough. Was tough to find because they don't have any sign, founded it by the tables and chairs outside and a recommendation from our hotel bar tender. Forget the overpriced gourmet resort food. Eat were the locals get take out, friendly service, and outstanding local fair. Peas and rice was the best we... More

We were recommended this place by Watson, we walked for five minutes there was a guy waiting to meet us. The menu isn't massive which helped making my mind up, I could have had anything but opted for grouper, mashed potato and veg........wow absolutely fantastic. We will certainly return before we go home, really friendly staff big smiles, welcome to... More
