A must visit place when in the Talybont area, the cream tea with homemade scones and proper china cups with a tea strainer; real tea not tea bags and lovely surroundings. Watch the various types of birds on the garden feeder. The staff are most welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

After spotting the signs and then following them for a million miles (we were hungry!in reality it was only 30 minutes but we had assumed it would be round the corner.) We had afternoon tea. It was a sunny day and very busy so we sat outside with the dog. On a wobbly table on gravel. Bit of a design... More

Stopped by on our way past on the off-chance that we might be able to get a bite to eat and that it would be dog friendly. Not disappointed on either score. Great tea and sandwiches and they made us feel welcome with our dog. Was quite busy but didn't have too long to wait. Menu is mainly sandwiches and... More

This place is so worth a visit! Located in the foothills of the Brecon beacons, the views are outstanding and a passing steam engine adds charm. The afternoon tea was spectacular and great value with excellent customer service. They don't take card payments bus trusted us to pay by bank transfer later. Go visit!!!

Nice to sit outside and watch the numerous birds feeding or sit inside out of the cold.highly... More

Had a wonderful lunch / tea as a surprise treat for my Gran, along with my wife and son. Lovely setting, warm and homely feel, very pleasant, friendly, staff, providing attentive and efficient service. Great choice of light lunches and cream teas etc. I actually used to live a few miles down the road and the location is so pretty.... More
