Ate here twice. Once we stayed there. Once we did take out. Easy to walk right by this place except the smell of the food draws you in. Delicious. Both times had the combo (ribs and chicken) with beans and rice and cole slaw. Very, very good. The sauce is wonderful.

The food is yummy. The ambiance is pretty bare bones. Don't go expecting super fancy anything. Our group had the bbq chicken platter and the rib dinner platter. Get the corn--it was so tasty and sweet. We all loved the barbeque sauce they make; just the right amount of spice and sweetness.

Should have known something was up when there was no one else sitting there. The food has declined in quality, price still very reasonable, food still good but not excellent. Service still minimal and not friendly at all. Bathroom was a mess. Probably will try the other barbecue place in town on my next trip to STJ.

I have been to St John's 16 times and have never missed going to Uncle Joe's. Be sure to buy a bottle of their BBQ sauce to bring home. Chicken and ribs - YUM!

Uncle Joe's BBQ is a must in St John. We first ate here in July 2015 and we returned today for a second time. The BBQ Chicken is delicious. You can buy their BBQ at St John Spice in the Cruz Bay Area.

If you spend several days in St John walking around you will find Uncle Joe's. Your nose will lead you to it. Great chicken and ribs and the sides are great also.

This outdoor stand is right at busy crossroads in Cruz Bay. We got take out 3 times --excellent ribs and corn. Parking is very difficult and it is right across from busy Bar. Drop someone off and get take out --while driver circles the block twice. About $28 for 2.

We love Uncle Joe's Barbecue! When we visit St John, we always eat dinner there at least twice during the week. We stay at the beach later than usual, stop downtown and order. Enjoy a smoothie across the street while our food is prepared. Then we take our dinner back to our villa and enjoy delicious food by the pool.... More

Uncle Joe's is a little shack on a corner near the US Immigration and Customs building in Cruz Bay. The ambiance is very Caribbean. It has a few tables and a counter. A lot of their business is carry-out. Our meals were tasty and there was plenty of food. The only negative I have regarding Uncle Joe's is that he... More
