The policeman we asked did not know the way to Trinity Place (Bahamian Cookin's address). Instead we asked the way to the Central Bank of the Bahamas, and found the restaurant across from the bank. The décor is contemporary, the staff friendly and the food well-priced. We had cracked conch (fried chunks with two kinds of dressings) and conch fritters... More

This is a quiet restaurant a few blocks off Bay Street in Nassau. I first went there one year ago. I went back for lunch twice on my last visit in DEc 2016. I loved the cracked conch.

Coming off a cruise ship, we were looking for a place a little off the main drag to have some authentic Bahamian cuisine. We happened to come upon this restaurant and although it was not crowded inside, we are glad we went in. The woman who ran the place was kind and friendly, and the food was exactly what we... More

Fresh fish, friendly staff, good all around food. At first appearance you may be reluctant to enter as it is not a pretty place but it's worth the leap. No doubt they charge American prices but worth it if you only have a short time on the island.

The experience at the Bahamian Cookin' Restaurant was great, my friend and I shared conch fritters and each had the conch snack which was nicely prepared. The staff was very accommodating but the service was a little slow.

Stopped for a quick snack of conch fritters and beer. Food was great. Service was a little slow, but friendly.

Stumbled upon this restaurant/bar by mistake; it did not disappoint. We ordered the seafood platter which contained fried shrimp, conch, fish, and 2 sides( we chose double mac/cheese); it was delicious. The chef tended the bar the day we were there..she and her staff were very pleasant.

It's a couple of blocks off the main street but the fish and conch were great. The macaroni and cheese is excellent but is baked with the cheese on top, unlike our american version. Worth the walk.
