Very Good, Conch Salad

The conch salad was very good. They also have fried conch and shrimp, which looked delicious. Try Daddy Browns in Port Lucay.

One of the best conch salads ever.

Fresh, simple and so good. This is always one of our first stops in Freeport. Conch salad is just perfect. Just the right amount of heat, lime, tomato, peppers and finely chopped conch. This is the real deal.

Worth the wait!!

Delicious fresh food. A must stop and visit. Conch salad is fresh and tasty with fresh tomatoes, peppers and lime. We had the fried fish, fried conch, fritters and fried lobster. Never had fried lobster, but it was amazing. It was well worth the wait...in line on a chilly day. Ocean side standMore

Still Going Strong - Juicy Lobster

I had a fish, lobster & fritters combo and hubby had the conch salad. The prices are pretty much the same over the last few years. The lobster was tender and juicy while you could barely find conch in the conch salad it was over...loaded with tomatoes.More

Must pay them a visit!

Definitely a must have if you are in Freeport! The big girl special was fresh, crunchy and reasonably priced! The fritters had conch in them which were greay and the conch filet was so tender, the we had during out trip. The shrimp were nicely...sized and tasty.More

Fresh squeezed fruits meets fresh chopped conch!

There’s nothing quite like watching a guy scoop the meat out of a conch, chop it to bits along with a tomato, pepper, and onion, too it off with a squeeze of lime and orange juice, and a healthy dose of hot pepper sauce.

DADDY BROWN IS THE BEST!

Daddy Brown is a super-charismatic local who makes the most delicious conch salad - fresh every day. Located by the scenic quay at Lucaya. Do not miss him!

Best Conch salad stand in the main tourist areas of the island

Good location near Count Basie square in Lucaya marketplace. I had Conch salad from Daddy Brown’s regularly during our vacation. Good price for a large conch salad in takeaway container $10. My wife enjoyed Lobster tail with Conch fritters $15. Takeaway or open air tables...nearbyMore

Food was Great

Big Daddy was the only place open besides the bar around the corner from him. He was fun to talk to, we had the conk sampler platter. Was great and we'd go back!

Divine local conch dishes

This has to be the absolute best conch in Freeport. I had conch salad, conch fritters and deep fried conch. It was like conch heaven! The conch salad was made fresh before my very eyes. The gentleman who prepared my meal was pleasant, friendly and...polite. Overall it was a great experience dining on the patio outside of this stall in the Port Lucaya Marketplace. It was nice to wander off the hotel premises and experience the authentic flavors of the Bahamas.More

Yummy and very fresh conch salad. Prices are great and Daddy Brown is really friendly... The conch fritters have a really tasty and crunchy batter with bits of chopped conch. Order your conch salad the level of spice you like and go get yourself a...drink at a nearby bar.More

Great Conch Fritters

We were on a tour of the island, and our guide stopped at this stand for some fritters. It was my wife's first time sampling conch, and she enjoyed them greatly. I have had conch fritters several times, and these were the best!

DELICIOSO!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACES 🦞 The lobster tale, the conch salad wow amazing. The price excellent. Estuve 6 días de vacaciones y no pude dejar de ir todos.

Highly recommend! YUMM

OMG delicious! I wish we had those conch fritters where I live in the US I’d eat the heck out of them! My husband got the conch salad and I had a taste of that too-it was fresh and delicious as well! He loved it!...Definitely recommend this place!More

Not so good

I went to this place yesterday, we ordered the breaded fish and a salad, the taste was very bad but above all the fish was dry, maybe it was a one time thing but it wasn't good
