First off, you have to have reservations. And I can see why they only take 6 reservations for 6:00 and another 6 for 6:30, and so one, because we got there at 6:00 and didn't leave till 7:30! Food was ok. Appetizers were better than the entrees. We had the spring rolls and and dumplings. Those were good. Fried rice... More

This colorful and eclectic place was the ideal location to watch an amazing lightning storm blow through, just as we were seated at the bar. We enjoyed cocktails while doing just that. The hostess seated us, and a beautiful young server took our order, after helping us with menu choices. Our table looked out over the ocean, and had it... More

We ate twice at China Beach during our visit to the Grand Lucayan in June, 2016. Great food and large portions. Great atmosphere with scenic views of the ocean waves crashing just steps away from the building. We ate spicy chicken (eye/nose running hot but you cannot stop eating it), seafood spring rolls (awesome), vegetable spring rolls (awesome), stir fried... More

When Kevin tells you to try the Lucayan Delight, you should listen! This was a great drink. Had the stir fried conch which was yummy and they did it gluten free for us. They also did the stir fried seafood rice gluten free. Do wish they would have acknowledged Mom's birthday, which was why I told them it was her... More

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful view of the ocean, but the service was okay and the meal was average at best. A regular small plate meal of stir-fry cost about $28 and was an average Chinese style dish. I had ordered Sake for all of us and it came out cold. I believe that traditionally Sake is... More

Took my wife for dinner at China Beach which is on the grounds of the Grand Lucayan Resort. The restaurant is not an inexpensive venture, but the food is fabulous. Every dish was cooked with precision- as an example, the fried rice was a perfect mix of vegetables each cooked to their specific perfection. As each would require a completely... More

Very good food, tried after we checked out of our previous resort. A bit pricey for sure, but enjoyed it a lot with my family.

Our chic China Beach restaurant offers a culinary tour of the Pacific Rim, with an appetizing menu inspired by the exotic flavors of Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia and Malaysia. Specialties prepared by our talented chefs include mouth-watering sushi dishes and fresh Bahamian seafood. Imaginative and colourful Asian decor sees scarlet parasols doubling as chandeliers in a restaurant that seems to float above the resort's serpentine swimming pool.
