The flying fish is WAY above any other restaurant we have tried in port lucaya. The decor is simple yet stylish, service is attentive without being intrusive. And the food, wow, the food... we were there for lunch so we only had burgers. An absolutely incredible fish burger for myself, full of flavours and accompanied by a delicious home-made sauce... This is a nice kind of zen restaurant, facing the harbor. It has its own floatting terrasse. We ordered veggie burger (mainly mushrooms) and fish burger. Both were really tasty. Desserts are also not to be missed. Slightly more expensive than other restaurants but we are in different league... 20 to 40$ for the main course.

We'd seen this place advertised and sought it our otherwise we could have missed it tucked away to the side of the Pelican Bay Hotel. Only just reopened after Hurricane Mathew so the menu had been tweaked according to the supplies available - but this did not affect our enjoyment. Lovely food in lovely surroundings and very friendly staff. Yes,... More

Went for lunch and sat on the outside patio. The food is well presented and service is exquisite. The food is even better. I highly recommend the BLT. wow! The bacon is smoked on the premises. Would definitely try dinner. The prices are a little high but worth it.

Had a fantastic lunch on our last day in Freeport. I ordered the grilled calamari, which was delicious. Calamari was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying veggies were unique and complementary. Husband ordered the swordfish, which was also perfectly cooked and served with excellent coconut rice and mango bell pepper salad. By far the best meal we had during our five... More

They seem to try very hard at their menu and we appreciated that. They however are very expensive and it is too overpriced as the food just good and not worth the price tag

Had dinner at Flying Fish and it was so good that I can't wait to go back to Grand Bahama just to visit this restaurant again.

It is a really nice place and delicious food. The owners are so friendly and they are trying to make customers happy. On sundays there is live music on the dock and it is perfect. Coctails and cheese platters are perfect! Good for special occasions.

It is one of the best on the island. For the type of food it is the best. Service over the top. Bathrooms clean. Restraunt clean. People smile.
