Our first night on the island. Easy to find, pleasant service. Sunset indeed is the star. Spaghetti was surprisingly good, even my discriminating eleven year old was appeased. Bring the bug spray if you sit outside… we didn't and were itching the remainder of our week.

We spent 12 days on Eleuthera and ate here several times. Of course service moved on island time, our food and drinks were great! The only negative is we ran into the same LOUD obnoxious tourists from a nearby country, constantly walking and jockeying for picture poses of the sunset right in front of our table and actually stepped on our... The food is good, and of the typical Bahamian style. Fried. But the staff is lovely, albeit very slow. Again, it's the Bahamas, so speed is not really what I'm after. The view on the deck is really wonderful. Get the Grand Slam (fruity rum drink with 5 rums...deadly stuff!).

When you're looking for you fix of conch of fried fish, this would appear to be the place. Delicious. Make sure you allow a while though!

We went out to the Sunset Inn on our first night in Eleuthera and it was a disaster. I get the whole 'island time' thing, but the Sunset Inn set new records. It took nearly 45 minutes to get drinks and after hitting the 2 hour mark and still no food, so we left.

We visited first for a sunset dinner. It was spectacular, we lucked into one of the best sunsets of our trip and the outside seating area was perfect for viewing it. We found the food to be very good and the prices quite reasonable for the island. Our group tried seven different dishes and everyone was pleased with their choice..... More

For the best sunset view/good food combo, I'd definitely choose the Sunset Inn. Most of the other restaurants in Governour's Harbor are on the Atlantic side (good for sunrise, but not so much for sunset) or are downtown without a view. The sunset was spectacular and they have a nice wide outdoor dining area to enjoy it. It got a... More

Very irritated by the owner of the restaurant. I understood this is not a 5 stars michelin (nor We were looking for that) but it is incredible to me and my friends how such a guy could run a restaurant. He had completely no willingness to do his job and accommodate clients needs (just to make an example, we just... More

I ate here a few times over my stay on Eleuthera. It has an excellent location on the Caribbean side of the island. Menu is some what limited but everything I ordered was good and fresh with a fair price. I also brought in some fish I caught out on a charter and they were more than happy to cook... More
