We visited all the pub/restaurants during our stay in Solva over the New Year and I have to say that The Cambrian was easily our favourite. The service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was nice, although the room was a little draughty near the door. The food was very good and appeared to be cooked on-site, as opposed to... More

We visit the Cambrian regularly when in Pembrokeshire and have never been disappointed. They have recently refurbished the premises which has been done tastefully. The staff have always been lovely and the food never fails - always cooked well and of a high quality - well worth the sometimes longish wait. The menu has something for everyone including children. There... More

The varied menu contains a section of fat burgers. I had the vegetarian one which was delicious-and very fat. The homemade coleslaw is light and the thrice cooked chips very good. The lemon tart that followed was alright but was enhanced by a tart lemon sorbet. The owners have extensively refurbished the Cambrian and it is an extremely pleasant pub... More

Came on a Sunday as I really craved a Sunday dinner and still haven't found anywhere good locally. We booked a table for 1.45. We were seated promptly and our drinks and orders taken quickly. We both had starters which was a huge mistake - not because there were horrible, but the opposite. They were delicious my partner had the... More

In that limitless period between Christmas and new year, when no one quite knows what day it is, we took a poodle to Newgile beach and then to Solva. Both places of natural beauty, and well worth a morning of your time if in the area. Hungry,we plumped for the Cambrian Inn, it turned out to be be a great... More

We visited here on a quiet afternoon during November. A lovely pub which is nicely decorated throughout, very clean and accommodating. They have a good selection of drinks and a wonderful menu of food. Highly recommend their burgers which are very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return on our next visit.

We were staying just up the road so nice easy stroll to the Cambrian. We have visited the Cambrian several times previously but not for a couple of years. We were greeted very warmly and shown to our table..this set the tone and service was excellent throughout. Everything we had was delicious. We shared cockles for starter which came in... More

Ok so the other reviews cover the main menu, and its excellent. I wanted to mention the children's menu as it's of the same standard and that's unusual. Great quality ingredients, well prepared just smaller portions. Exactly as it should be. We had dinner twice in a 4 night mini break. Highly recommended.

We ate here as a family on a Tuesday evening & were very impressed with the food. They are renowned for their burgers which looked excellent. The other dishes on offer were also very good. They offer a gluten free menu although this does not include their famous burgers which was a great disappointment but the steak was cooked to... More
