I've visited this delightful venue many times and have always been impressed by the home-made food. Very pleasant staff too.

We visited here on a quiet afternoon during November. A lovely pub which is nicely decorated throughout, very clean and accommodating. They have a good selection of drinks and a wonderful menu of food. Highly recommend their burgers which are very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return on our next visit.

We were staying just up the road so nice easy stroll to the Cambrian. We have visited the Cambrian several times previously but not for a couple of years. We were greeted very warmly and shown to our table..this set the tone and service was excellent throughout. Everything we had was delicious. We shared cockles for starter which came in... More

Ok so the other reviews cover the main menu, and its excellent. I wanted to mention the children's menu as it's of the same standard and that's unusual. Great quality ingredients, well prepared just smaller portions. Exactly as it should be. We had dinner twice in a 4 night mini break. Highly recommended.

We ate here as a family on a Tuesday evening & were very impressed with the food. They are renowned for their burgers which looked excellent. The other dishes on offer were also very good. They offer a gluten free menu although this does not include their famous burgers which was a great disappointment but the steak was cooked to... More

It's often a form of default behaviour to opt for 'the burger' on any menu, and, I have to admit that, had they not just sold out of mussels, I wouldn't have, but, WOW, what a burger it was! It looked a about a foot high and was nailed to the platter with a steak knife, but, boy did it... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch from an extensive menu although this will be changing, following refurbishment in November, to the winter menu. Also serves real ales from local breweries. Located in the beautiful village of Solva, Pembrokeshire.

We ate at The Cambrian on a Saturday evening. The service was very friendly and efficient - getting the balance between being quick and not rushing us just right. The menu offered a wide range of meals to suit all tastes from the traditional to thnigs that were a bit more unusual. A welcoming setting that was very much appreciated... More

I'd never normally give somewhere 5 out of 5 for anything- let's face it, everything could improve somehow, yes? Well, it turns out, maybe not. The Cambrian Inn in Solva may just be the perfect hostelry. The bar staff and waiting on team where politeness personified, the atmosphere is a wonderful mix of vintage charm befitting the age of the... More

At The Cambrian Inn you will find the best of both world’s, a welcoming relaxed lounge bar and the simple yet stylish main dining room. The lounge bar with its relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink, or if you are not heading for the main dining room, you can just sit back and relax in one of the comfy chesterfields, enjoy your drink, order some snacks or delve into our wonderful bar menu, available every lunch and evening. With dishes like our Pembrokeshire Wagyu beef burger using the finest meat reared in the county and a selection of fresh fish caught daily by Solva fishermen you can get a true taste of Pembrokeshire. The main dining room, with it’s exposed stonework, original pitch pine beams and contemporary furnishings provides the perfect environment for you and your party to enjoy your selection of dishes and wines that have been carefully put together by the resident Head Chef, Matthew Cox and his team. We like to feel we cater for all, with a wide selection of meat, poultry, fish, game and of course vegetarian dishes using only the best local produce wherever possible. Matthew’s menus reflect his simple yet sophisticated approach, which relies on the quality of the ingredients to speak for themselves.
