Perhaps we caught it on a bad day. Service was friendly enough, but place was in poor repair. Drug awareness posters in toilets raised lots of red flags.

Popped in with family after lovely but emotional visit to Yr Ysgwrn. This is a traditional village pub, nothing fancy (which is good) serving a decent pint of Doom Bar. Nice outdoor space in the sun and was made welcome by other pub drinkers. Not to be confused with the other 'Cross Foxes' just down the road in Dollgellau which... More

The Cross Foxes, Trawsfynydd is situated in the heart of Snowdonia within easy reach of many outdoor activities including the mountain bike trails at Coed y Brenin and Blaenau Ffestiniog, fishing at Trawsfynydd lake and plenty of walking and hiking in the local mountains and countryside.Simon took over the hotel, which provides accommodation, food and drink in July 2012 and has made many improvements to the building and rooms and along with Lucie the chef has created a very popular menu which is highly recommended.
