The creme brulee was a little... More

Travelled down to Dundrum with some friends and stopped for an informal dinner at the Bucks Head. Well worth the visit. Good food, friendly atmosphere and not hard to pay.

I have dined here before and really enjoyed it, so I returned with my family for the early evening menu. There was nothing to complain about really, food was nice and the staff were pleasant. However, we had two courses and were in and out in less than an hour. The main course arrived within minutes of us finishing our... More

We really enjoyed our meal in this pub which has a terrific chef and very well trained and pleasant front of house staff. It delivers much more than you would expect from a Dundrum pub. The main course of braised beef was particularly delicious, and the whole meal was a very pleasant experience with a number of little unexpected extras.... More

Nine of us ate at the Bucks Head over the Easter weekend. The menu had great variety although a little bit on the expensive side! Very friendly and approachable staff and a very busy restaurant. The main courses were excellent.

Visited the restaurant with friends during the week! The restaurant itself is comfortable and in a nice setting. The food was very tasty, we had the mussels to start which were lovely and then had the scampi as a main course. The service was very friendly and the menu was great, a lot of the food sounded lovely! Only small... More

This is our favourite Sunday lunch venue in the Newcastle area. They offer beautifully tender roast beef plus nice starters and deserts.
