Everything Jill does at Ardshealach is top quality. Food is excellent, staff friendly and well-trained, bedroom is really comfortable. Lovely conservatory/drawing room with fabulous views, and a nice walk for the dogs down to Loch Shiel. Highly recommended.

Unfortunatley we couldn't book in the day we wanted however we (3 adults) booked in for a belated birthday meal. It was excellent. I would advise anyone to book early.

I have known the Loch Shiel area for forty three years. My family have had a holiday cottage close by for more than seventy years! As a base for boat trips on Loch Shiel or the bays, beaches and islands of the surrounding seas, hill walking, or just enjoying the glorious landscapes with their big skies, you really couldn't do... We had a wonderful 3 days staying here , the accommodation is very good, our room overlooking Loch Sheil had an amazing walk-in shower and a very large and comfortable bed. The breakfasts are good and the evening meals should you choose to eat here are amazing. My wife had a fillet steak which had to be seen to be... More

We were booked here for one evening only and had also booked an evening meal. The room we had was beautifully decorated and had an extremely modern and large en-suite with a great walk-in shower. to top it all, the view of Loch Shiel and the surrounding hills was stunning! Dinner was beautifully prepared. I had a lovely sea food... More

We have stayed and eaten here many times over the past 10 years and each time the experience is perfect. Although this is listed in Tripadvisor as a restaurant, there are 4 bedrooms and a cottage as well. Jill has an extensive garden and her produce and flowers appear in the dining room, along with excellent local venison, lamb, beef... More

We were booked elsewhere but for various reasons were changed to here. We arrived on a Sunday when they don't normally do evening meals but Jill kindly gave us some of what they were eating. Delicious. Very comfortable and great breakfasts.

Had a last evening meal here to close the holiday. What a good choice. Chef said she never looks on Tripadvisor. Maybe she should. Really delicious menu. They even let my niece try a haggis taster for the first time. But Boss the cat got some of it! He knows which side his bread is buttered. Good choice of meats... More

We experienced two lovely meals at the Ardshealach Lodge. The presentation of the food and the taste was excellent. Jill takes a pride in her creations which are reasonably priced.
