What a fabulous cafe, the food here rates equally (if not better) with a top restaurant Always consistently good quality, well presented delicious food. New dishes each week and the cakes are irresistible. You can always walk off the calories on the coast path to Prussia Cove or Marazion.

Went for breakfast. My husband had the full breakfast, I went for pancakes and bacon. I appreciate that the food is cooked to order, however we were only the 2nd table to arrive at 9.30 and it took 50 minutes for the food to arrive. The full English was well cooked and not at all greasy. The pancakes were fluffy but were burnt on one side unfortunately. The location is great and the garden lovely. Hopefully this was just an off day.

The food here is freshly cooked and consistently good. Lovely flavours, well presented and always a choice of specials. Usually meet friends here and they have their favourites too; crab sandwiches, lamb souvlaki, salads and the cakes are a delight - ask for a takeaway for later if you are too full to manage one.

Been twice in the last fortnight. Brilliant both times. The cooking is fresh, inventive, and delicious. Cannot think of a better place for a late breakfast or a leisurely lunch on a fine day. Photos are of meals had both times: cod fillet on a laksa noodle base, beetroot falafels, fishfisher briche bun, fried prawn and squid in a gorgeous garlic and chili sauce, baked berry cheesecake. Some of these are weekly specials, some are on their constant menu (like the fab fishfinger buns). The salads accompanying the food are always great. Staff are efficient and friendly. Top place.

Simply the best breakfast in the area. High quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and served with a smile. Lunch is also a great treat and the selection of cakes just too tempting, even the GF and vegan options are really delicious.

Very black storm clouds coming overhead let’s have a cream tea . That will do the trick I had the clotted cream team Pam had the orange vegan cake with a cappuccino. The cake was delicious and a good flavour of orange throughout and very filling. I received 2 plain scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream very tasty went down a treat. Will definitely return again service friendly and efficient. Would recommend to all.

Visited this location for the 4th time today and we simply love lt!! Great place to visit and dog friendly seating area outside. Great tasting food and well priced. Always worth the 1 hour drive followed by the 1 hour walk from Prussia Cove. Food is well presented and very tasty (had the Peppercorn full breakfast) recommended. The owner always makes us feel very welcome and makes the effort to chat each time we visit. Thanks to the team great job !!

Great little cafe with food cooked to order. Plenty of outside seating area, but inside area is limited - wet or cold weather book table inside. Food is good and service is always pleasant - waiting time has improved this year. My wife tells me that the “Granola” at breakfast is the best she has experienced.

Usually very good food but today was disappointing. The salad was tired, iceberg lettuce was browning and a bit slimy. The rest of the salad elements seemed nice but just looked a few days old and a bit sticky or sloppy, nothing seemed crisp or fresh. The fish cake had a slight tang of not being fresh. My fella being hungry decided to eat his but I couldn’t justify eating something unappetising so I left hungry and it was a very disappointing birthday lunch. Refund was given for my portion.

As discussed with you on the day, we were very sorry that you didn’t enjoy your meal and as you have mentioned we provided a refund. We also offered an alternative meal and complimentary drinks. Your partner was still eating his meal when I came to speak to you and I was not aware that he was only doing this as he was hungry otherwise I would have refunded you for his meal as well. We make all our accompanying salads freshly, they were not a few days old. The Japanese cucumber salad and Asian slaw are both dressed salads, so maybe this is why you viewed them as sloppy? Our leaves are organic from a local farm and I’m sorry that these were not up to standard in your meal. The crab cakes are made with fresh Newlyn crab so it was surprising that you felt that the crab was not fresh. At the Peppercorn we strive to produce tasty meals with fresh, locally sourced produce and are disappointed that we haven’t hit the mark this time. If you would care to make direct contact with us, we will provide a full refund for the remaining items on your bill. We appreciate your comment that we have always been great and that the food is usually very good. It’s always disappointing in a hospitality business when a customer leaves a critical online review when something wasn’t quite right but doesn’t go to the same effort of leaving a positive online review for the occasions when you’ve been ‘consistently great’. In any case thank you for your feedback and we very much hope you have a better experience with us should you return to the Peppercorn in the future.

We visited the cafe for a late breakfast/brunch whilst on holiday. We had two Aussie breakfasts - with perfectly cooked poached eggs; a sausgae sandwich and a bacon sandwich - loads of filling in each. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely would recommend and will visit again when we are next in Cornwall

We visited a few times already and never disappointed about quality of food. This place have specials meat or fish dish and portions are quite big also use local produce from west Cornwall. Very friendly owner and staff. Very welcome for families and dog. Are you fussy eater? Then this place is perfect for you. They can help you to find what you can eat etc. no hustle. I’ve seen them taking order with so many requirements but find a food what customer can eat and happy to make changes which I was so impressed. Very nice place to relax too.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Peppercorn cafe. The staff were really friendly. We also had some takeaway cakes which were yummy, especially the rhubarb and ginger cake. It was really easy to park, either at the cafe or in the nearby car park and the cafe is in a great location, just moments from the beach.

Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and staff at this fabulous little Cafe. The food is delicious and even if you are just in need of a cuppa and a piece of cake you are well catered for. I can't recommend the gluten free brownies enough, they are sooooo delicious. Make sure you call in at this hidden gem in Perranuthnoe đŸ„°

What a great menu, we had the lamb souvlaki, delicious. Lamb was tender and fat free, lots of salad and homemade flat bread. Great staff and service. Good position for a walk on the coast path afterwards.
