It's a little drive but worth it. Pierre is the chief cook and everything else. Nice to have some different food choices on this wonderful island

I visited, first for the fishing, and then for the overall experience. Superb food, very comfortable cottages and a fine beach. 'nut said.

Literally every single thing we tried here was excellent, from the bread to the appetizer to the meal and the dessert. We left extremely pleased and this was after what seemed like a mile of the worst road we've ever encountered! Highest recommendation (but rent a Jeep!).

Had dinner off-season in September. The French-inspired cuisine was spot on and in such an killer location on the ocean. The long drive from the main roads sets you up for a bit of an adventure and the 1970s building prompts a "what have stumbled over?" mystery. A wood boardwalk through palms overlooking the ocean leads to the four-side veranda... More

Pierre gets a lot of comments on being brusque and rude, but we found him quite the opposite during our 3 visits to his place. He is almost a one-man show, doing the greeting, seating, cooking and serving. He comes up with some unique creations and the servings are very plentiful (we usually got 2 meals out of each one).... While some would say Pierre is gruff and maybe even harsh, it is all bluster with only kindness and caring at its heart. He gives his every effort to make your experience a wonderful one.

Superb food and service. In the middle of the boonies you get civilized cooking and wines. Pierre does it himself. A taste of haute Quebec on Long Island.

We ate at Chef Pierre for lunch and had a Margarita pizza and a Caesar salad for two. Chef Pierre was a little gruff with us since we had not made a reservation, but he served us and the food was amazing! It says on his website that reservations are not necessary, but I'd highly recommend them if you want... More

A wonderful menu that is different than any other on the island. Be sure to call for reservations and try to get there in time to watch the spectacular sunsets. Great fish, pasta dishes and super fresh tasty salads!

Food is by far the BEST on the island! Make reservations and be on time! Pierre has a different sense of humor and makes the experience fun, just be prepared for that! Don't ask for substitutions or condiments! You won't want them anyway as everything he cooks is perfect. The pasta dishes and pizza were amazing!
