We ate lunch today at this small restaurant. Initially we had wanted to return to the wonderful little pizza place almost right next door, but they happened to be closed. We wandered up Grande Rue a couple of doors and looked at the menu for...Mélèze and decided to give it a shot. We hadn't intended to have a full meal but the two dishes we ordered - confit of duck for my wife and a chicken and and prawn dish in a lobster sauce for me - sounded so good we thought we'd give them a try. We were delighted to discover that both of our meals had a wonderful mix of fresh vegetables in them - and they were both delicious. A small green salad on the side with an appropriately sized portion of potato rounded out both our meals. We left very satisfied and glad we'd stopped by.More
