Came here for a few drinks and some lunch, fantastic range of lagers and bitters, great menu, I had the chicken tikka masala with chips, absolutely delicious, with poppadum and naan, complete with mango chutney... My only critique is I would've liked half chips and half rice, but was told this wasn't possible. Other than this, 5*! Great service too!

Called for a couple of pints n a Saturday afternoon. Lovely place - friendly bar staff, rugby on the TV, nice interior, good mix of people with groups, couples, kids and dogs. Really great atmosphere and the food looked good. Cant wait to return.

Visited this pub on the off chance whilst in Lymm for the first time in years. The service was great and the food superb. The only downside was the Ribeye steak was a bit fatty. The mixed grill was fantastic. Unfortunately they had run out of chicken but that wasnt an issue as there was plenty of choice on the... More

Great for families, meeting friends or taking the dog. Good beer, decent pub food and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Very comfortable and cheery interior with lovely large beer garden overlooking the canal and car park. Been quite a few times now and never disappoints Phil

My wife and I visited last Sat night. The pub was busy with diners and we were lucky to get a table. I'd advise booking on a Fri and Sat. The food was served promptly, piping hot and the steak was perfectly cooked. The team were very friendly and attentive. I can't recommend this pub highly enough, excellent food and... More

Me and my partner went here with his parents for food. Were told they could not provided a lot of meals e.g mixed grill or surf and turf due to lack of steaks. They had ran out of things such as mustard, both French and English. I had a burger, the bun came out like toast and the burger was... More

Visited with Colleagues whilst working in the area, service was average however the steak was really poor. Grey and unappealing. Considering the competition in the area I would have expected better. Also, I have only visited once so may be a one off, possibly an inexperienced chef on the day.
