Proper locals pub, lots of character, with great food and friendly staff. The hake was excellent - 2 fish for £10 on a Friday, very good value. I think they stop serving food at 8.30.

This is an amazingly pleasant pub. The landlord is easy going, friendly and very helpful while there is also a very good selection of real ale. Including a yard of Ale, which I may return for..... The location was also terrific. Would strongly recommend!
