Yes it is pricier than other places nearby, however the food is excellent - beautifully presented and truly tasty. This was the best meal we have had all week and I highly recommend this place for a special evening out.

Popped into the main hotel bar for early evening cocktails and where pleased that two requested not on the menu where capable produced but surprised that being a Sharps brewery outlet they do most of there products except the flagship bitter -Doonbar. Nice setting and safety glass encased terrace.

Breakfast was very good on the whole. Ingredients were high quality and very freshly cooked. Eggs were cooked to order too. Staff at times seemed under pressure but nevertheless service remained very high. Bar service was slow and we felt the cocktails didn't live up to what we expected and were also rather over-priced. Our one dinner in the hotel... More

Really great menu, with good options for kids. Perhaps would be nice to see a few more vegetarian options. The service was absolutely excellent, and the atmosphere informal though the restaurant top quality.

Came here fot my uncles birthday and I must say it was a great evening. It is obviously quite pricey - £5 for a beer and all that but to be fair that is to be expected in this part of the county. We had a 2 course meal. I had the salmon to start and yes it was small... More

You go somewhere else!! The restaurant was almost empty, we'd booked but arrived early and after a five hour drive the juniors are hungry. We are told we have to wait 45 minutes for a table because of 'the system' & are directed to the bar ?!? ..... We shared our disappointment with the helpful barman - who suggested the... More

We were told by the staff in the seaside restaurant that this was the best and only way to give feedback as the restaurant is under new management. This is our 2nd year staying at St moritz and we have noticed a huge difference this year at the seaside restaurant. There is a very limited menu. It is pricey for... More

We visited the St Moritz as we were staying in the area. The food was amazing, such beautiful presentation too. The staff we attentive without being too overbearing and had excellent knowledge of the food and wine! Prices we very reasonable too. Slightly disappointing not to have a sea view for the restaurant but the beautiful food makes up for... More

We were staying in Polzeath for 2 weeks and ate here twice. The first as a couple when the In-laws baby sat our daughter. On this occasion we visited their main restaurant. Service and food were good but with the price charged, I Would have expected more. The second visit of the holiday was to their seaside restaurant. This was... More
