Hi there. Been a while since I posted last and here it goes... I did a road trip through Baja California and stopped in this quaint town by the name of Mulege and had a tasty lunch at Doney Mely's. Very much recommended food in this beautiful desert oasis.

Usually we go here for breakfast. This time we went for dinner. Of course, it was great. The service was fast and friendly. And, they have free WiFi, (always a plus when traveling). We had the carne asada, which was wonderful. Dinner came with vegetables and a potato. It was all good. Dony was watching over everthing with a gracious... More

I had breakfast and lunch here. The coffee was the best I had in Mulege and the breakfast was delicious. The shrimp fajitas were also very good.

We always go here for breakfast at least once during my visit to Mulege. One because of the fresh fruit that comes before the breakfast. And two, because of the potatoes. They serve the potatoes with onions, they are not fried, (I don't know how they prepare them). And, the coffee is always great and fresh. And lots of it.... More

We've eaten here each year with a local (gringo) fellow that lives nearby. The service and food is always reliable and decent. It is a nice place to stop if you need to get something to eat in Muleje. On our trip South, we joined our friend with his family for late lunch. Had different style eggs for breakfast, lots... Not sure what it was but I found the restaurant just OK. A little better than average but just a little. Food was good but not great. Maybe it was because I had to drink Pacifico Light instead of Tecate Light which they did not have. We would give it a second chance however as the owner was very helpful... More

We stopped while passing through Mulege, when we saw a number of US license plates parked out front! Glad we did. I had the Chiles Rellenos ($92 Mx) and my wife had the Burritos plate ($84 Mx), both were tasty and well prepared plus more than you can eat. Nice lunch for $12.50 US. Recommended

Good basic food that is VERY popular with the local ex-pat community. We thought it was okay- very safe food. But not what I would make a special trip for. Ambiance is pretty dull but service was okay.

I stopped in for breakfast. Clean and nicely organized place. I sat in the outside area with great sunlight, but inside was also nice, with air conditioning. Service was accommodating, pleasant, and fast. Wifi is a plus for travelers needing an internet fix. The dish of fruit was refreshing and tasty, a nice touch. The omelet was good, but the... More
