Went with some friends of ours and we each ordered multiple samplings and shared, hubby has some sort of fresh raw fish (no, not sushi), that was flavored quite delishly with herbs and more. We will definately return.

I have been many times in Finca Altosano and most of them were very good and pleasant. Unfortunately the last 2 times we were there our dinning experience was not as good. Mostly sea produce was not up yo theirprevious standards especially one of their prime dishes wich is seared octopus. Also their ceviche was not as fresh as one... More

The setting reminded me of the dining room without walls at a mountain summer camp I attend as a kid and outdoor covered mess halls on some military bases or in remote outposts I enjoyed as a young adult. :-) As others have noted here, the road to Finca is dusty and bumpy. We arrived when it was still daylight,... More

We were so excited to come here. After dining throughout the Valle de Guadalupe. we had heard over and over that this place was a must try. The place is beautiful and fun for the entire family. The food itself was the biggest letdown. We ordered the Lechón, which was not really lechón in the end, but rather crispy pork... More

My wife and I eat here for our first anniversary and were a bit wary about the hype after being disappointed at Chef Javier Plascencia's restaurant in San Diego. Boy, are we glad we didn't let that deter us! We ordered the octopus mini tostadas so we could compare them to ones that disappointed us in San Diego and we... More

The food and the view are both impressive!!!! The restaurant is an open air place of sorts. It has a roof but no walls so forget having the luxury of AC in the hot summer. You can see all the kitchen activity from the dining area. They use wood fired grills. Service is really good!!!! I ordered the local quail.... More

Great food, try the borrego en caja china, the fresh seafood of the day. The freshly baked bread, european style (very crusty) is wonderful. On hot days the fresh cucumber or lemonade is wonderful. Nie slection of wine and beers. Great for lunch or dinner - reservation is recommended as they do get quite busy

We had a reservation for 20 ppl at 1pm but it was hard to gather our group together on time and we had a delay of 30 mins. Beforehand we called the restaurant to let them know and they said that our spot was reserved till 3pm sooo if we can speed it up we would have much more time... More

Glad we had a tour bus to take us here (crossing the dry wash bed made the bus driver nervous, was afraid of getting stuck in the sand) and it was worth it. Very nice lunch. All outdoor seating, but on a great day it was beautiful. Lots of shaded seating. We never made it to the mains, we all... More
