We arrived by boat, and wasn't certain if they were open or this was the correct place, but soon, got a rooftop wave and yell, "Open". We anchored and walked ashore to be greeted by charming and wonderful Alejandro, who offered us a table, where...More

You need a car but it's worth the drive! Beautiful location, great owners, good food and UNIQUE. A definite must visit if you are in Loreto.

The surprisingly remote, rough, and jostling dirt road makes the breathtaking views from a promontory worth every bump. The fact that Alejandro jovially welcomes and follows up with the most delicious seafood ever doesn't hurt! This is arguably near the end of their season, for...More

Don't let the drive on the dirt road stop you from visiting La Picazon! La Picazon is by far the best restaurant in Loreto. We spent three hours wading in the water and eating, scallops, garlic clams, octopus and bananas flambé. Call for reservations and...More

Our arrival to La Picazon was via a boat after a morning of ocean sightseeing and short swim. Our captain pulled up close to shore and Alejandro signaled our boat to indicate they were open. We waded up and Alejandro was so gracious he learned...More

I will not lie. It is a 20 minute bone jarring ride in a taxi but once you get to Alejandro's place...paradise. Great beach to walk and beachcomb on, a wonderful menu with excellent food. Highly recommended. Plan to stay for hours, and wear your...More

You are better off getting there by boat, but worth the trip. The food is great and you can't beat the atmosphere.

Driving here you'll feel like you're being bounced around and you'll wonder if you'll ever actually get there. Then you arrive and you're cast under Alejandro's magic spell. The setting is beautiful, romantic, peaceful, and very friendly. The margarita was terrific along with the tortilla...More

The restaurant does not accept credit cards. We were there 4 days ago and I asked the owner who said no, because they are off the grid. They accept cash only...pesos or U.S. Dollars.

Around $100. We did not take the boat to the restaurant, rented a car. But the boat is at your disposal for the time you rent it. They often go from the little island reserve to the restaurant.
