Excellent fusion restaurant. The food is amazing and the ambience is nice. It's a little pricey but is worth to try it! Wonderful setting!

We had reservations at another restaurant with a view, but after hearing how it could be blah at times for the price, we changed to Pitahayas. Omg!!!! I have celiac disease and can't have wheat. They were so conscientious of everything from drinks to dessert...More

You have to have your own car or get a taxi to get here. We've taken the bus most everywhere but this restaurant is tucked in the Sheraton Grand Hacienda del Mar near Cabo San Lucas. But this little inconvenience pales compared to the treat...More

We had a lovely evening and dinner at the beautiful Pitahayas at the Sheraton. The setting is gorgeous and the weather fabulous (it's Cabo in the Spring!), but the food and service were also top-notch. We both had fish (it's Cabo!) that were locally caught...More

We ate at Pitahayas Wednesday night (last night). The service was excellent with Juan and Valdemar, also, we order "skinny margaritas" and Ms. Yuniva, the expert in cocktails, brought her cart and made them in front of us. They were excellent! Chef Volker had a...More

Wonderful spot - we were staying at the Sheraton and booked dinner her for our anniversary. Food was amazing, service attentive - beverage service a bit slow, but beautiful views so just need to learn to relax and enjoy them. Accommodated food allergy really well

As for food, Pitahayas was all around excellent, and we were all impressed with every dish that we ate during the night. I had the appetizer tacos with pork belly and scallops, and they were phenomenal. Another appetizer that surprised was the ink risotto, which...More

The views were incredible and the live music created the perfect ambience. The shepherd style sea bass was excellent, flaky and flavorful. The tuna in the seafood trilogy was seared to perfection. We enjoyed dessert as well: Tres leches cake and black and white cake....More

I have eaten here several times on different excursions. The ambience is exceptional under a huge palm dome, with no sign of the hurricane damage of two years ago. The food is excellent. Seafood is presented beautifully, and the sauces are perfectly balanced with the...More

Such fusions- primarily fresh, local seafood paired with Japanese and Peruvian accents and ingredients- may seem novel to visitors, un less of course they're familiar with the brillance of Pitahayas Chef Volker Romeike. Romeike's concept is more sophisticated and significantly broader conceptually than that of his contemporaries in the local fine dinning scene. It encompasses cooking styles and traditions that extend from México to China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippine and Hawaiian Islands.
