We were a group of eleven that included three teenagers. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I had the combination plate #2 which was quesadillas, enchilada and taquitos. Loved it! We shared a guacamole with chips appetizers. The salsa that comes on the table when you sit down was fabulous. The guacamole was a bit too bland for my personal taste.... More

As the name suggests, the restaurant has the air of a cozy nest of nature. "El Nido" in Spanish means "the nest". Good food and fast services. Delicious warm tortillas made on-site.

El Nido (The Nest) opened in 1972. We and family members joined in the Mid-70s. Nearly 45 years has transpired and not much has changed. Quality is superb and Lupe, the Owner has kept to the same tradition of BBQ meats over a mesquite grill. We decided to go to dinner at El Nido on our last night before heading... More

The food was good and the price was right. The service was attentive but the best of all was the atmosphere. We sat next to the fire and listen to the waterfall. The lush plants made it feel secluded. A nice break from the hustle and bustle.

Went in for lunch while visiting Rosarito Beach. Service was slow and my meal was overcooked. I think it was a little overpriced.

I have lived in the area over 3 years and heard mixed things about El Nido, so I always passed and went to a different restaurant. This time we were being hosted by friends and so we went. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the food. The place is a little dark and old fashioned but... More

this place offers all kind options of wild game. they offer great steaks and it comes with so much food. It can get a little smokey in there but depends on how busy it is.

We had Sunday morning breakfast at El Nido. The decor is endlessly fascinating. The waitstaff is terrific. We loved the fresh tortillas. When we were there almost everybody else was Mexican families.

El Nido and it's sister location, Los Pelicanos, are two good stops to make for drinks and lunch fare. We did not have dinner at either venue. Food and service is very good although not remarkable as was Punta Morro in Ensenada. Parking is free and private.. give El Nido a try!

This is a large steakhouse restaurant with good steak, chicken, game, and seafood entrees. The menu is quite varied and contains the restaurant history, of which they're very proud. They opened in 1971. The beef is fresh, imported from Sonora, and the chicken and produce come from their own farm. The steak and seafood are very good. I had the... More
