We took the drive up to this hotel to enjoy the view, have lunch and review Libusche's art. It was not quite noon and there was only one other table of people. We ordered a drink on the upper patio, decided since we had had a late lunch that we would forego a meal in the meantime and head over... More

thank you for having taken the time to write your report. Maybe it is politically not correct to answer with our viewpoint, but we do it in this case. You entered the restaurant at prime lunch time claiming that you wish to have a table for 6 for lunch. Request which was met and you had two table with a... More

My husband and I had a delicious romantic dinner here. The road there is long and bumpy, up through the desert hills west of Todos Santos, but this oasis at the end is worth it! The restaurant is on the rooftop of a hotel, with shade and a view of a nearby lagoon and beach beyond. At dusk nighthawks fill... More

El Gusto is down some dirt roads about a mile from the center of Todos Santos. (Follow blue signs for La Poza off main road in) Don't be fooled by Trip Advisor that has the location on the mainland! Food is excellent - but not traditional Mexican as the Swiss owners combine local fresh Mexican ingredients with some of their... More

After following a series of signs out of town, we found this beautiful restaurant with its gorgeous views overlooking a fresh water pond and ocean. The food was fresh creative fusion mexican. Service was efficient and polite. We were lucky enough to watch the whales migrating which was a wonderful addition to this beautiful place.

Based on the reviews of this restaurant we were looking forward to dining here and trust me you have to want to go there to find it (although the signs do help). The view was amazing and our waiter was very polite and made us feel welcome. However, the food was rather disappointing. I love chicken tortilla soup and was... More

We walked here from the beach, which I don't recommend. We scrambled over rocks and through some mucky swamp in the dark in order to get to the restaurant and showed up a little disheveled. The owner was gracious and let us in. The food was absolutely delicious - maybe the best I had in Baja.

My wife and I found this place because of some signs pointing to it around Todos Santos. It's very much off the beaten path, but easy to find as there are signs the whole way. You have to take a dirt road for quite a while to get there, so be prepared to think you've gone too far. The hotel... More

We had another great meal at El Gusto on a recent trip to Todos Santos. The owner, Juerg, is a great host as well as a fine chef. I had the tortilla soup--the best I've had--and the steak arrechera, which was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. They have an excellent selection of older wines from the Guadalupe Valley, which is... More

El Gusto is the house restaurant of Posada La Poza about a 5 minute drive out to the beach. The upper deck has an amazing view of their gardens, the lagoon and the ocean. A great place to relax at lunch or to watch the sunset. The food is excellent but not really mexican. More gourmet continental. The fresh fish... More

My wife and I had lunch here after walking down the beach from Playa La Cachora. Lunch was served on the rooftop pation which had a great view of the freshwater lagoon at Playa La Poza. There was enough of a breeze that several customers were wrapping themselves in the towels that were provided by the restaurant. We both had... More

Description
Wonderful location on the shore of the Pacific to enjoy your lunch or dinner. Lunch is being served on the terrace overlooking a freshwater lagoon with an active birdlife. Dinner is offered indoors due to the cooler evenings and some upcoming winds. In Summer, we also serve dinner on the terrace. The terrace is called whale deck due to the wonderful view on passing whales in season (Jan - Mar). We serve day-fresh seafood and well cured prime cuts. Organic salads and vegetables from the region are a must. And we also speak Vegaterian and Vegan. Dinner reservation required.
