This is the flagship of Felipe Chapa's restaurants that have raised the bar for restaurants in Northern Mexico. The upscale Mexican food and world-class steaks are second to none. Very good service and lively atmosphere.

Had a great ribeye with the bone marrow on top- sounds weird but very delicious. Asparagus was OK, F.Fries very good.

Made a reservation on Open Table and reached about 20 minutes late but the hostess was nice to get us a table on priority. Ordered some nice appetizers, McCallan, Malbec etc. For entree ordered Octopus and Tuna dish but in 10 minutes he comes back and says they are out of Tuna. Then ordered Pepper Salmon and same thing, after... More

Noisy and raucous, but the food and wine sure makes up for it. Good appetizers, steaks and wine selection. No room for dessert this time. Second time here. When in this part of town, don't miss it!

Don't miss the Rib Eye a la Sal, or the Filet a la Sal, delicious! The Octopus Chicharrón (a new dish) is exceptional. Finish up with a decadent Macadamia Cheesecake.

Highly consistent, great service and food, with original recipes La Nacional is a grate choice. Reservations required. Ribeye a la sal, cauliflower, artichoke and macadamia cheesecake are our favorites.

I have been visiting Monterrey for over five years and was never at this restaurant before. Everything was perfectly cooked. I loved the cauliflower, the green salad, the tuétano, the ribeye, the lechón. I would recommend this place strongly.

A rare find, find out what local yuppies have been enjoying for generations, very simple food, exquisite steakhouse style meat cuts, lots of pork. A diamond in the dessert. La Nacional team usually rescues recipies from small towns and delivers them to your table. You cant leave Monterrey with out this craving generating machine!!!!!
