Pipos has been around since 1948, started by a local and is managed today by his children. There are waiters at Pipos that have worked there for 50 years. The food there is very good and so far through the years, we know if we visit Pipos we will be served high quality seafood and the service will always be... More

Walked by this place which was less than .5 km from my hotel and noticed a lot of local people inside, mostly big groups, so I decided to go in. They have a simple one page menu, all mariscos. I was feeling a bit off after getting food poisoning in Oaxaca the night before, so I chose soup as a... More

This restaurant is very good. It is 2 story and very awesome seafood. This place also had a separate menu in English for the ones that dont speak Spanish.

No-one knows why this restaurant once was considered one of the best fish-restaurants in Acapulco. The food is average: there are many places with a better CEVICHE ACAPULQEÑO and the taste of the famous FILETE ALMENDRADA AL ESTILO DE LA ABUELA is not bad, but like so often with similar dishes the creamtopping is far bigger than the fish underneath.... I was extremely dissapointed when I had dinner there with some friends. The food was not what I expected at all. Also, if something is extremely spicy than it should be mentioned. The service was not good and the restaurant was not even that busy to provide some understanding. In the end, a 10% tip was left to the waiter... More

After a week of having great food from several places even the beach- I landed my terrible experience. I guess we all have to have one from the 10 great ones. Had octopus coctail which was nasty tasting due to the ketchup they were drenched in. Then had a fish dish, and the tuna was rough. Friend had to give... More

What are you really looking for? We were the only non-Mexican folks around, not only in the restaurant. It was like watching a movie. All family at work: tables, bar, kitchen. In the menu? Just fish and seafood; perhaps by mistake they mistyped chicken fajitas, surely to tap some strange palate (how can't you fish in Acapulco?). Only catch of... More

Sit's right on the main road. Apparently a very popular place for locals - and that says everything. Meals were excellent, and the waiters are very quick, and very busy. Excellent guacamole too !
