The guy in charge said that there was no seating, there was a family sitting outside almost finish we told him and he said no they still ordering dessert, while the waiter was bringing their check, meaning… refused to give us service! Can’t believe it!! The food maybe good, but if you go in a group forget it , i guess they don’t like big groups!! Don’t recommend it!!

Even though the menu does not have too many pages, its content looks appealing... until you try the courtesy soup which is very tasty! We then had a rice with shrimps (asian style and better than in many chinese/thai restaurants), some fish and shrimp tacos Ensenada style which turned out to be delicious, and finished with some coconut shrimps, just as dreamed of. Their tamarind margaritas are pretty well served and the service is courteous, helpful and efficient. We were delighted with this restaurant which is great and unpretentious.

I took a taxi here all the way from Zucalo and arrived at 6:45pm but they were already closed with the chairs up. If they say they close at 7, they shouldn’t close until 7. They could have at least let me order take-out. So disappointed as it’s my only night in Acapulco and I wasted time and money getting there. 3 stars because I don’t want to affect their rating too much considering I didn’t actually try the restaurant. If you’re going after 6pm, I recommend calling first to make sure they’ll seat you.

This place is awesome. The courtesy soup is awesome (it’s really hot for people that are not used to it) and the service is also outstanding. We tried the shrimp basket, the tatemados shrimps and the tuna with Philadelphia cheese. All of them were awesome and delicious. The place is not cheap but it worths what it costs.

We stumbled upon this place when we heard it over and over from locals, the day prior we went to a big seafood chain restaurant... called “fisher’s”; it was OK, no more than that. So needless to say we hesitated, but gave it a chance. Upon our arrival, Alex (host/owner) took care of us as if we were regulars, such an energetic and cool dude (also English is not an issue here). The menu had all the “classics” and a lot variety. Food was excellent, around 3-4 minutes wait from placing the order to having our plate in front of us (and they had a full house), so flavorful, no wonder all the locals eating here. Ambience is great, still a “no shoes, no shirt, no service” policy, but this helps keeping the family environment it has. Price wise it is really affordable, around 10-15 USD per person (with dessert and a couple of beers but no strong liquor) you will end up FULL. The only “Cons” we could find: If you have a party larger than 4, you should call in advance or prepare to wait for around 15-30 minutes. And few options for dessert (although the dessert chimichanga was delicious). No wonder why this pearl was so recommended. Nick V.

Very nice, small local restaurant. Where the locals eat. I think we were the only gringos. But that will change, as we will tell all of our snowbirds about the place. Great food and excellent service. "All" of the wait staff take care of you. If you have more than 4 people, call ahead so they have room. Excellent. Can't wait to take friends.

A friend and I had dinner this evening at La Concha, a friendly neighborhood restaurant, and fell in love with it instantly. The staff made us feel like regulars---popular regulars right away! They steered us through the menu chock full of tempting choices. My companion isn't fond of seafood, but was happy to find tuna steaks listed while I couldn't resist trying a shrimp dish I'd never tried before. We were both delighted with our choices, and my "no seafood for me" friend gladly took home his para llevar to enjoy tomorrow. If you're a resident, business regular, or tourist, do yourself a favor and stop by for a delicious meal. But don't wait too late 'cause La Concha closes at 7:00 pm. Get there in time for fun and fabulous dining!

This is one of the best and most unique seafood dishes I have ever eaten. From their "tostadas de camarón, tuna, ceviche" to the delicious "La Torre" Also, the service is second to none. Don't forget to order their great drink selections. Ask for Alex and he will make you feel right at home.

La Concha is one of those hidden gems! On a first glance you wouldn't pay it a second thought, but what a huge mistake that would be! Alex and his welcoming charm, customer service and attention to detail is one of the first things that stands out. The food is a delight! Alex and his team are a lovely bunch! The ambience and interaction with other patrons and staff is wonderful, and engaging. I've now had the pleasure of dining at La Concha on my two previous visits. Myself and my business partner have now made it a routine and tradition, that upon visiting Acapulco we must visit La Concha, at least once. Thanks again Alex, to you and your team for making me and my partner feel so welcome, and part of the furniture. We look forward to our next visit.

Amazing food served by Alex and his very friendly and helpful staff. This is the place to come if you want a real meal with local people away from all the hustle and bustle of the beach and . Vendors. Food is fresh and delicious and drinks are plentiful. You will need a car or a taxi ride to get here as it is back in the neighborhood but very safe friendly must do while in Acapulco
