We visit this restaurant taking a bay tour l, and is where we had the best sea food of Huatulco, fresh red snapper right from the sea, a lobster, excellent shrimp, and mescal from the house with Nanche only for special customers

This restaurant is located right in the middle of Maguey Beach. If you arrive by taxi you will be asked if you want to be escorted to a place on the beach. Just say no thank you, Camaron Gigante. Walk down the stairs and continue along the path right to the restaurant. You can sit on chairs in the restaurant... More

I went there as part the 7 bays trip and I must say its a really good place to eat, prices are pretty standard to other seafood restaurants, except the ones that aren't on a bay or in a very touristic zone that tend to be cheaper, try the speciality "Camarones al horno de piedra" they're delicious!! If you're allergic... More

at the beginning they are very friendly, they even go to pick you up at the road and everything looks nice, but what they dont tell you is that prices are extremely expensive, service sucks, and they charge you for each beach bed that you useee!! they say they have internet but thats not true!!, and besides of that is... I found the food to be very authentic, and tasty. However for the portions you receive their prices are ridiculous. I paid 140 pesos for chicken tacos, but there was hardly anything on the plate. Like I said, pay close attention to your bill. My uncle ordered a rum & coke, and was charged separately for the rum and for... More

We love this place. This was our second year going there and the food and drinks are as great as they were last year. When we first got there we ordered Pina Colada’s and Margarita’s. This spot has the best Pina Colada I have ever tasted. I remember it from last year, totally fresh, they must have crushed the coconut... More

We sat here because they had a deal with the tour we were on that we could sit here and not buy anything, but we still bought a Limonada, just to sip between dips in the beautiful bay. It took about 30 mins before we received it. It was expensive, but we knew that when we bought it, so that... More

We came to Maguey Bay and got "hijacked" by the guys at the top of the hill to "come to your restaurant". We got to sit in their chairs all day for the price of a few beers, although their beers were 30 pesos compared to the other places who only charged 20. Had lunch which consisted of a pizza... More

We rented a boat in Santa Cruz, and the captain (who goes by the name "Pollo") recommended we eat at El Camaron Gigante in Maguey Bay (because he gets a kickback from the restaurant owner). The restaurant was terrible, the prices on the bill were higher than on the menu, and the owner added a 12 percent tip to the... More
