We’ve been coming to Ramada Marildo since 2007 and have always had great meals. Our go to picks are Ostion a la Talla, which is oysters with chipped onions and peppers toasted over coals. And the pescado Zarandeado, which is whole fish butterflied with wonderful...More

If you want an authentic Mexican restaurant experience in Manzanillo, look no farther than the group of Ramadas on La Boquita beach. Our favorite is Ramada Marildo. To get there you will drive through Club Santiago (a gated community), tell the guard at the entrance...More

La Boquita is actually a grouping of restaurants at the end of Miramar beach. All of them specialize in seafood dishes. This area is a favorite of local Mexican people. Get there in the early afternoon. Most of La Boquita shuts down at dark. The...More

Went there for New Years Eve and had a great time. Tried it later for dinner and were disappointed. My mahi mahi was very salty and overcooked. Mostly seafood not a lot of other options. We would not go back for dinner.

Isolated restaurant on the north side of the lagoon, but well worth the effort to find it. Located at the resort of Las Palmas on a dead-end road, the food is excellent, and while the service is slow, remember that you are in Mexico and...More

We try to get out to boquita a couples of times, this year only made it once. As previously noted this is not one restaurant but a series of restaurants. We usually eat at Marildos and did again this year. Had two shrimp dishes (diabla...More

Located past club Santiago, the road to get there us really bumpy, and is partly gravel. It's a great place to spend the day at the beach, easy swimming or just playing in the water. Many restaurants to pick from

Our favorite time to head to the La Boquita Beach and it's Ramadas is Sunday afternoon. The beaches can get crowded with all the families, but that is the fun of it. Lots to do.....swimming, horseback riding, Banana rides, paddle boarding, etc. El Rey is...More

We went to Ramada El Rey based on the reviews and comments. The food was delicious but as it's a popular place we thought prices were a lot lower. We spent about USD$120 for a party of four and the place is practically on the...More

This is a strange, somewhat misleading Tripadvisor listing. La Boquita has several restaurants - not just one. La Boquita is the northwest part of the bay which includes, to the southeast, the lovely walking beach extending to Miramar and Santiago, ending just before the rocky...More

Pricing is seasonal, but if you order off the menu expect to pay 160 pesos for main course ($9.00 USD). The real value is the fresh catch usually 200-300 pesos per kilo (2.2 lbs.) which should feed four. Add 150 pesos for... More

It is probably 30 minutes. It is very rustic, meaning an open air beach restaurant. There are other similar restaurants closer to the port. Have a great cruise!

None of the Ramadas on on Palaya La Boquita have phones. There's no need to have phones as you can't make a reservation at any of them. They are open till 5PM each and every day of the year.

Description
This small restaurant under an open-air palapa is on the same property as Palma Real Hotel. I've been eating there for many years and it is consistently excellent (I own a vacation home nearby).
