Went there for New Years Eve and had a great time. Tried it later for dinner and were disappointed. My mahi mahi was very salty and overcooked. Mostly seafood not a lot of other options. We would not go back for dinner.

Isolated restaurant on the north side of the lagoon, but well worth the effort to find it. Located at the resort of Las Palmas on a dead-end road, the food is excellent, and while the service is slow, remember that you are in Mexico and enjoy the expansive view over Santiago Bay. We return here every year.

We try to get out to boquita a couples of times, this year only made it once. As previously noted this is not one restaurant but a series of restaurants. We usually eat at Marildos and did again this year. Had two shrimp dishes (diabla and rellenos) both of which were good. Prices are a tad high but worth it... More

Located past club Santiago, the road to get there us really bumpy, and is partly gravel. It's a great place to spend the day at the beach, easy swimming or just playing in the water. Many restaurants to pick from

Our favorite time to head to the La Boquita Beach and it's Ramadas is Sunday afternoon. The beaches can get crowded with all the families, but that is the fun of it. Lots to do.....swimming, horseback riding, Banana rides, paddle boarding, etc. El Rey is our favorite restaurant......the food is wonderful and the beer is cold. The Margaritas are also... More

We went to Ramada El Rey based on the reviews and comments. The food was delicious but as it's a popular place we thought prices were a lot lower. We spent about USD$120 for a party of four and the place is practically on the beach with inexpensive tables and chairs. I insist, food was delicious but the experience was... More

This is a strange, somewhat misleading Tripadvisor listing. La Boquita has several restaurants - not just one. La Boquita is the northwest part of the bay which includes, to the southeast, the lovely walking beach extending to Miramar and Santiago, ending just before the rocky peninsula where one finds Las Hadas and other resorts. In the La Boquita area there... More

This is where the locals go. Everyone is friendly. It is very safe and tourist should come here and enjoy a real Mexican meal. The red snapper is incredible and fresh. This place beats every other restaurant we ate at for three weeks. The service was great and we speak four words of Spanish. But you can get by with... More

I have been to the Ramadas (a row of small palapa roof restaurants) on La Boquita beach many times. It is relaxing, fun, inexpensive and the seafood is excellent. Hurricane Patricia did some major damage to the Ramadas, but they will rebuild quickly. Show your support by returning and frequenting these places so they can get back on their feet.... More

While most of the enramadas are very good, we always head for Marildos. Try their Pescado Zarandeado. It's the best in Manzanillo!

Description
This small restaurant under an open-air palapa is on the same property as Palma Real Hotel. I've been eating there for many years and it is consistently excellent (I own a vacation home nearby).
