Great food and service. Ribs done to perfection and great baked potato and cole slaw as sides. Typical walk in restaurant in Mexico. Nothing fancy but great place to eat.

It looks like a total dive, but don't be fooled. The ribs are some of the best you will eat anywhere. My husband had the ribeye, and it was a lot better than I would have expected, and we are beef connoisseurs. The cole slaw was marvelous and the baked potatoes were perfectly sized Yukon Golds. Beer selection is limited... More

I know it says "fat fish" but the ribs fall off the bone like butter. Large rack of ribs, potato, cold slaw, very inexpensive yet DELISH. Not a fancy place at all, comfy clothing, had a soft acoustic guitar player, friendly staff n customers. Just a relaxing place to go very casual.

The place is famous. Others do it but not as well. cheap food and drink. Restaraunt is pretty beat up and you sit in very old plastic lawn chairs. Also the restaraunt lets everybody and anybody solicit while your eating .

The ribs, baked potatoes, salad and steamed veggies are the most wonderful meal. If you walk by the restaurant during the day, you will see them boiling the ribs in preparation for the evening. It is always packed and for good reason. The food is wonderful. The two for one menu makes this very very reasonable. Don't let the dismal... More

The cost, the delicious food and the live music, you get more for your money. We were delighted with the ribs, a whole grilled slab, baked potato and salad for each of us for 199 to 220 pesos for two!! A very lively restaurant!!

Every year we come down this is our go to spot. This year was no exception. We were only down for 2 weeks and ate dinner there 3 times. Just had the ribs everytime we went. My first stop was with friends that were down, they loved it. 2nd stop was with my wife as it is one of her... More

Two for one at $199 pesos. A slab of ribs, salad, Cole slaw and baked potato could have fed three people! Ribs were delicious. Seating outside is limited; find the furthest table from the grill or sit inside. Enjoy the music while chowing down on the ribs.

The best meal we had on our trip this year. Fall off the bone ribs. We ordered 2 plates of ribs and a plate of shrimp plus multiple beers. Including tip $24USD. The ribs were literally falling of the bone delicious. Served with a green salad, baked tater and bread. If you haven't been there, you must try. Not fancy,... More

Fat Fish has been a standby for us when visiting Mazatlan. We went on a weeknight and had another great experience. You want to sit outside where you can feel the breeze, or be next to one of their fans. We ordered 2 beers, mixed ceviche, one order of ribs and a NY Steak MR. The beers came quickly, but... More
