We came here twice but only for drinks at the front bar both times. The drinks are big and nice and strong. There are usually mariachi available and we have taken advantage of this both times--I will say both were for birthday trips so we had good reason to celebrate! The service is excellent--they are very nice, attentive, and friendly.

Super good visit this year! Returning customers from last year. Cannot say enough about food and service. Seafood salad cold and hot was eaten on a visit twice in one week. Chile Relano also very good- Great Margaritas! Go there and see for yourself! See you next year!

We were staying around the corner and the wife was shopping earnestly across the street at the Market, and I needed shade and something cold. Stopped in for 'two for one' but got my timings wrong. No worry says the manager, I give you two for one anyways. Wow! THAT is customer service and worth an EXCELLENT rating. Gracious, Paul

I first ate at this restaurant by the river in the late 1980's and I am delighted that it is still around. The tortilla soup that I had for starters was good although the broth had more tomato taste than I usually prefer. The Aztec Plate that I had as the main was tasty and served hot. It included a... We can't wait for the 45 days until we get back down to Puerto Vallarta and go eat and drink at this fantastic place. We found it some years ago and it is a MUST stop every trip we take. We have traveled with friends a few times and have brought them here. Everyone enjoys the food, the hospitality, and... More

This wonderful restaurant was a few steps from the Garlands Del Rio, where we stayed. We were blessed with having the owner sit with us and sharing the Mexican culture, along with the yummy authentic food we had. After walking all day, sharing a large lunch, we decided to stop in on the way back to the Garlands for a... More

We used to go here all the time in years past and thought we would try it again. The margaritas were good and not sweet and the food was average. Kind of a nice sanctuary off the main street but still noisy with buses and cars. It is located close to the flea market. The service was excellent.

It was refreshing to find a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta with great food that wasn't trying so hard to be formal and pretentious. The service was quick and personable, the margaritas were not the typical sweet college girl margaritas you find in most places, and the food was great. Jose, our waiter, spoke English fluently and was friendly and accommodating.... More

Very good margaritas, and service with a smile at this classic Mexican restaurant on the bridge of the Rio Cuale, overlooking the view. Relax and enjoy a break. We were serenaded by the very good Mexican duet of bass and tenor guitarrone. Of course, you will be informed about "pay for play" — and these guys play and also sing... More
