Great place with cakes, pasteries and individual treats. Smoothies are a great find. A nice treat off the beaten path.

The best place in old town for pastries....nobody else even comes close. They also have a nice selection of desserts.

This is a very small and cozy place to meet friends over coffee and have the best breakfast breads, muffins, donut-like twists, etc. Yum! It is located inside Los Mercados along with 3 other stores downstairs.

This is quite a find in Puerto Vallarta. Who would expect a French patisserie in the old town. It has marvelous croissants, pain au chocolate, and beautiful handmade tortes. We purchased a very rich chocolate torte with a raspberry and strawberry center. Lovely and decadently rich. Their coffee is also delicious. They even have good brewed decaf.

From the reviews I read that brought me here, I thought k'rico to be a restaurant where we could go for brunch for a friends birthday. Well I went the day before to check it out and found this: What you must look for on the street is an orangie golden entry to a Mercado. There is no K'rico sign... More

The first time we looked for this bakery we walked right passed it! This hidden spot is located in the back right corner of a secret courtyard! The coffee was delicious and the pastries (although not authentic Mexican pastries) were all delicious and fresh! The woman who was behind the counter chatted with us and was very friendly.

I am a coffee lover- I like a rich but mellow roast- and the coffee at k'rico:) does not disappoint! The pastries, made there, in-house, they are flaky, rich and decadent! You can tell they use butter and not lard and REAL chocolate :) I also love the mini cakes and tarts- great to take home or to a party... More

A street vendor kindly walked me across the swinging bridge to Los Mercados on Guiles Sordan, close to the Malecon and the river. This lovely little courtyard mall has a great deli: Mikey's (that I will try next time) and the wonderful K'rico Coffee Shop and Bakery! K'rico also makes smoothies and I had a green vita-mixed juice that was... More

I had expected to see much more of Jose the Muffin Man on our recent trip to PV and was somewhat disappointed he wasn't around much. Luckily k'rico was down the street from our condo and in the same complex as the wine shop. These are not the stale-tasing pastries one finds at most conferences or for hotel continental breakfasts.... More
