We ate breakfast here. The food and service was good.quanity and quality of the food was also good. The Waffles were extra good served with fresh jam or you can pay extra and get canadian maple syrup.

That's the sign that caught our attention. So I just had to see if they were exaggerating. The burger was cooked to order and served with wonderful fries. Joined by an ice cold Negra Modelo it was a great lunch.

This is way up on the hill above Puerto Vallarta. Excellent spot for dinner and sunset. The best mariachi band in PV.

This is a great family run outdoor cafe. Located on the corner of olas altas and francisco Rodriguez its a active intersection with lots to observe. Food is both traditional and fusion. Wonderful sliders amazing tortilla espanol. Eaten here on numerous occasions not once disappointed. Remember to relax your in Mexico. Service is slow and friendly.

We popped in here for lunch and we each ordered the shrimp tacos. You do not get 3... you get 5!!! I wasn't expecting so many so I gave one to our waiter and my husband ate one. They were so so good, we came back for supper another night. This time I was prepared to eat all 5.

Great Variety and Great Food, this is a nice little stop for any meal. Service is slow and a bit spotty even by PV standards, but it's still a great place for a meal.

We have eaten here 3 times and have enjoyed every bite! They have the best tortilla soup and tacos around, Oh and their burgers are gourmet! They have a very nice drink menu and so much to choose from on their lunch and dinner menu. Its a must for everyone to try. You won't be disappointed.

Description
San Angel Cafe (pronounced Ann hell)is an icon of Vallarta, open since 1998 it has been providing only the best service and quality foods and beverages, both to the locals and the tourist alike. We pride ourselves to be the introducers of gurmet coffee drinks to this town way before Satrbucks even knew it existed. Our concept is a Gourmet Diner, somewhwere where you can dine, wine or simply have coffee and pastries from our Calorie Gallery. We are two retaurants (separated by time rather than by space) under one roof, one is what is known by the american and canadian expats as The Breakfast Club, where you can have both, american and mexican breakfast. The other is The Hamburger Grill that features our list of very interesting burgers made with Angus Prime Beef prpared with our 20 year old recipe. San Angel is located in Olas Altas the main street of what we call the Latin Quarter of Vallarta, in a corner with a full sidewalk area where you can "watch the crazies walk by" and have fun while townspeople do their daily stuf. Come and have a delightfull couple of hours with us, and bring your dog too!
