We had eaten here in the past, and on this trip decided to go back. We have lunch there today, and I have to say it was excellent. With the camp going there for dinner tomorrow night, too . Food and service were great. You won't be disappointed

This is one of my top 5 restaurants in Puerto Vallarta for quality of food (well prepared, consistent, flavorful) and location (ocean view on malecon). My own preference for Vitea is for breakfast or lunch, but they also server dinner. Today, I ate with a friend here for lunch and we came for one thing (our favorite): --> Chicken Parmigiana... Over the years we've eaten here countless times: breakfast, lunch and dinner. We even had many Thanksgivings here. The last several times though, the food has been hit and miss and the service has been poor and very disorganized. Most recently, we decided to go for lunch. Vitea is a great place to people watch and this is Semana Santa... More

This restaurant is so good we ate here 3 times in ten days and had some of our best dinners ever. On all three ocassions we split a large salad and our favorite was the Greek salad . The lettuce was crisp and fresh and it was not just a pile of lettuce but sweet tomato chunks( peeled, nice touch),... More

This is a great restaurant for a quick stop on the boardwalk. Many seafood options to pick from. I don't recommend eating outside if you can't deal with flies. It can be bothersome. However, the food is good nonetheless. They may also be a mariachi band to sing you a song while you eat.

I arrived with a couple of friends just as the sun was setting. We enjoyed a half hour of dusk on the Malecon. We each had one of the chef's specials, I had the red snapper, which was moist and delicious -- good sized portion well presented. We each had a glass of house wine, which is poured at the... More

Four of us came here for breakfast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I enjoyed the spinach crepes, especially since most places in PV serve sweet crepes or shrimp crepes so it was nice to find a savoury veggie one. The quiche was also very good here. The mexican omlettes were very very spicy so just a heads up. The ocean view... More

We only came to this restaurant for dessert but it was absolutely amazing. The flan in the center was the smoothest we have ever had. Included was also an apple tart, brownie and Italian cream cake. Can't wait to come back for an actual meal!!

We have been to Vitea several times and every time it's the same story, with a little twist this evening. As usual the food has always been very good, but the service ALWAYS leaves something to be desired. Tonight was different only because the owner / chef heard me complaining to another server about the bad service and the owner... More

We chose Vitea on the recommendation of a friend. One of many on the malecon, it was a typical boardwalk restaurant, open to the malecon at one end, with a great view of the bay and sunset beyond. We chose a salad to begin the meal. It was very good, the greens crisp, the dressing ok. The main courses, my... More
