Wonderful family run place - the octopus and shrimp dishes were fresh and delicious - the service was great! Definitely worth a visit.

This place was just around the corner from our hotel. We were told they have the best walnut and coconut shrimp and may I say, they have the best of everything. We would stop by and pick up afternoon snacks to enjoy by the pool with some wine. Everything is made when you order it right there in front of... More

We mixed our order to have a taste of all three types of ship and sauces. Crispy coconut, smokey chipotle and bacon wrapped. And try the tiramisu dessert (if you have room)

As others have pointed out, this is not on Calle Adelita. It is now in the city center near Bandidos. That said, they do have a "sister" restaurant, Las Adelitas, on Adelita, which is also worth a visit. We both had the coconut shrimp, which were outstanding. Great, friendly service by Jovana (sp?). We were also fortunate enough to taste... More

Great food and service. We had the seafood pasta, and the Walnut shrimp, and both were fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Chendos have moved from Adelita Street in the Playa Madera district to the center of downtown close to Bandidos and the church. Same wonderful food specializing in many varying shrimp based dishes. Great friendly service and great value. Highly recommended

Chendo was recommended to us by another tourist. Today, we went there for lunch and had camaraones al gusto (shrimp to taste) and pulpo al gusto (octopus to taste). They were both very fresh and delicious. Their fried banana and ice cream was also very delicious and it was on the house! Great service. The best seafood we had so... More

We use to eat at Chendo's when it was on Calle Adelita. They closed about two years ago and reopened a month or so ago in downtown Zihua on Pedro Ascencio, on the pedestrian walk between the big church and Banditos. We just happened to run into it looking for a place to eat and so glad we did! It... More

Have frequented Chendo;s for the past 10 years....wonderful food. The restaurant moves to different locations and is sometimes hard to find.....but when you do locate it the food is great and so are the prices!

This was one of our favorite places for shrimp but it was not open in the location we knew it in before and none of the neighboring restaurants knew anything about them reopening someplace else.
