This place was recommended to me by a tour guide that I have taken several tours with over two visits to Zihua. He said it is his favorite tacqueria in Zihua, and a favorite among the locals. I had the namesake potato, Papa Loca, which...More

Delicious! We each had one of the potatoes. And all were very tasty. Inexpensive beer and soda served in the bottle. A great little gem. Casual and fun. Great for families (even picky eaters)!

If you like baked stuffed potatoes, you'll love this place. There are tacos as well, but the baked potatoes are the winners. We chose the Mexican potato which included chicken and mushrooms. It was delicious and filling. They give you a few fresh vegetables on...More

The crazy potato is well named. It is street food on a busy street. When we were there it was VERY busy. People were crowded in, waiters running through a tangle of tables and customers and the people in the kitchen going wild creating crazy...More

Description
A lot of places claim to be for the "locals" but this place actually is where they eat. The name means "crazy potato" in English and that is their speciality. Huge baked potato's filled with buttter, sour cream, cheese and then a variety of meats. Their tacos al pastor and pico de gallo are the best I've ever tasted. Nothing on the menu is more than $50 peso's or about $4usd. Very popular spot with the locals and tourist's that want to experience authentic Mexican food..
