So tasty. My family loves the potatoes, and always looks forward to going back every year to have them again. My personal favorite is the Alambre Macho. SO good! Very Affordable prices as well.

I am a solo American customer. I waited 30 minutes for the potato and chips. The food was great but service was lacking. Other people were served in front of me even though I was there before them.

We were greeted as soon as we stepped out of the cab and promptly sat down with tortilla chips and salsa. The waitress helped us pick our food and were eating within five minutes. The baked potatoes are to die for. They are huge - actually could eat only 1/2. So the good news is ... I know what is... More

This will be a new must stop for us when visiting the area in the future. The potatoes are huge and you have many topping options to choose from. Great local place and very inexpensive. Can't wait to go back again!

I had an incredible potato with pork, bacon, onion, peppers but could only eat one third of it! So delicious and only cost around $3.50 american. The tacos looked delicious as well, but had no room for more. Fun place!

this is always a stop (at least once a week) while vacationing in the area. The Beer is cold, the food is tasty and you can watch it being made. A favorite for locals too. Easy to get to by bus with just a short walk. Very reasonably priced.

Super casual and cheap. Multiple families - locals and tourists. Never would I have paired pastor w pineapple, cheese and a baked potato w crema and a lot of butter. Then you top with hot salsa, lime, and grilled onions and eat with tortilla chips. It's insane. We each had a personal potato, pastor tacos and beers, ate just over... More

This place is absolutely fantastic the potatoes are great. Lots of toppings to chose from and you will not go away hungry. The road is close so a bit of traffic noise but service was excellent. This is a must place to visit.

Papa Locas' is in the heart of downtown Zihuat and i mean in the middle. The food and service was great but it was to noisy for me with all the traffic zooming by. The food was great, price was cheap and the service really good. If you've just spent the afternoon in Z and are heading back to Ixtapa... More

A lot of places claim to be for the "locals" but this place actually is where they eat. The name means "crazy potato" in English and that is their speciality. Huge baked potato's filled with buttter, sour cream, cheese and then a variety of meats. Their tacos al pastor and pico de gallo are the best I've ever tasted. Nothing on the menu is more than $50 peso's or about $4usd. Very popular spot with the locals and tourist's that want to experience authentic Mexican food..
