Located conveneiently on the main drag in Cuernavaca. Dont order more than one dish...they are HUGE! The adobada and arrachera dishes are my favorite. I cant finish one, so if you order two you will have leftovers. Really inexpensive and the staff is right there to make sure everything is ok. Wash it all down with a tall glass of... More

Our family stops here when we are in Cuernavaca because the place has good food and hefty portions. The staff is very friendly and you can watch your food being made behind the counter. The atmosphere is comfortable and the prices are reasonable.

This use to be a great taco place. It ain't anymore. That food is very greasy and it looks dirty. The service is the worst I've ever seen.

This place is not cheap or particularly outstanding, but definitely worth a visit. The food was really good (and we were 4 really hungry people ordering a wide variety from their menu), and the place carries the great advantage of being one of the few places opened after 6:30 pm and serving genuine Mexican food. Please don't underestimate the importance... More

Delicious alambre and tacos al pastor. Love the fried cheese. Its a big hit for new visitors, without pushing the bar to weird cuisine. We came many times with big groups, and they can accommodate the space. A few parking spots available in front. The service is consistently slow, but we took our time to enjoy the meal. Overall, the... More

A casual Mexican-style taqueria specializing in tacos "al pastor". Definitely one of the best places of this type that I've been to in Mexico City or Cuernavaca. It is more traditional in its decor, the service is excellent and the comfort food is delicious. You can ask for the "al pastor" meat sliced and assemble your own tacos at the... More

When we have groups visiting this is a great place to stop for tacos. Service is fast and the food is good. There is plenty of room for a large group and for those who are not up to tacos at a street stand, this is a good option. The tacos, quesadillas, the melted cheese are all great options.

We stopped in this restaurant after a long day on the road and had quick service and good food. The fried cheese was addictive and even though it was very large we managed to eat every last crumb before our dinner arrived. The staff was pleasant and helpful as my Spanish speaking skills are seriously lacking. They helped me to... More

La Tortuga's tacos are of the best. The service is efficient and the staff friendly. We come here though for the food. If you don't like corn (blue or yellow corn) tortillas ask for the flour. They are happy to make sure you are satisfied. I particularly enjoy the tortilla soup.
