What are you looking for when you search for a restaurant? I don't care about the location, not particularly about the premises BUT... above all I care about flavour! And the pleasure started with the drinks. They offered me an artisan beer, of which they store three different types: I chose the red, just to discover that it had gain... More

This restaurant no longer exists. When it was operating it had goid food, a beautiful setting and arguably the best chocolates in Guanajuato. But again, it is out of business....! (As per August 2915)

This restaurant has changed management several times over the last few years. It's only 5 minutes from the Jardin Union, but unfortunately it's not on a street many people walk on. The decorations are tasteful and the architecture is interesting. I went for my favorite dish, chiles en nogada. They were good, but I would have preferred more dried fruit... More

We had a delightfully delicious dinner just now at this tucked away spot, that's so close to the crushing crowds of the tourist center. Excellent Spanish food, in a restrained creative way. They also offer a smaller trad Mexican menu which we didn't sample from. Pulpo a la Gallega: so good! Desserts (we ordered both from the Mexican section) great;... More
