My husband and I and 3 friends had dinner at La Taula last Friday. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes there. We all sampled each other's dishes and I would definitely go back to La Taula when we visit GTO next time. My favorite dish was Chamorro Al Limón (pork shrank). It's so tender and flavorful. The portion... More

We went here for our last meal in Guanajuato where we had been for two weeks. We had hopes we would leave town with a good meal as a memory, but it was not to be. We went around 8 pm on a Friday night. We ordered octopus only to be told they were out. We asked for camarones. They... More

We were craving a great steak & we weren't disappointed. Cooked to our liking ... rare & medium rare ... the steak was succulent, juicy & full of flavour. Size wise ... they were like dinosaur steaks spilling over the edge of the board. We'll be back!

On arrival at La Taula the first thing you notice is the Chefs diplomas gracing the wall perhaps a woo of what's to come ,sadly the whole experience leaves a lot to be desired Of the four dishes we ordered two were different to the order The only waiter on duty was very polite and dressed smartly however overrun on... Guanajuato does not approach the culinary scene of DF, but La Taula is a nice approximation. Several dishes are very tasty - the best of which surely is the costillitas "La Taula" - tender bites (bone included) of pork rib with a great sauce, very flavorful. I also recommend the sopa de hongo, a flavorful mushroom soup served pozole-style with... More

Came here with some of our friends for dinner one evening. The six of us ended up having the restaurant to ourselves the whole time, as it wasn't a very busy time of year. The food and service were great, but my only complaint was that they seemed to be out of almost everything we asked for and kept trying... More

When you enter this restaurant it seems like any other Mexican restaurant, nothing fancy, nothing in its appearance gives a hint about the quality of this chef. He cookes with great passion and love for food. After having eaten pulpo a thousand times, because its one of my favorite dishes I was very pleasantly surprised by Tonio's version. grilled to... If you want to experience a variation on the theme of Mexican cuisine, you will enjoy this restaurant. Small menu offering interesting options, well presented and beautifully prepared. Subtle flavours and the octopus is to die for if you are an octopus fan.
