We heard of this historic restaurant from a friend so we thought we would give it a try. The milk and coffee was good and so was their bread selections but the breakfast plates that we ordered were just ok. In fairness it was a...More

This restaurant was across the street from the Hotel CostAzul, so we tried it for breakfast in a hurry. The coffee was stronger than the typical Cafe Americano served in most Mexican restaurants we tried. But the food was just average. The "house bread" is...More

The real name of this place is: Cafe La Habana. However, the coffee is hardly drinkable unless you like lots of sugar. They have an extensive menu so there is something for everyone. However, expect mediocre. The only cool thing about this place is that...More

Good food. Nice historic feel, shame about the modern renovations done cheaply, e.g. lino tiles over the original ceramic.

A friend and I visited for breakfast recently...I felt a bit disappointed as we went way out of my way to get there. While the food was decent the coffee con leche was mostly milk with a smidgen of coffee. The Spanish style egg dish...More

Imagine my surprise when I wandered in for lunch, looking for congri...There might be pictures of Havana on the walls, but nothing Havana-ish on the menu.

You would think that Cafe La Habana, after all these years, would have good quick service, but no. And the food, in this case two orders of huevos rancheros, would at least be as good as at a diner. It was okay. The lunches- comidas,...More
